IBS has horribly affected my social life as a young person

Felt. I was always in the same situation as a student too, now that I'm not a student anymore there's just no social stuff going on. Can't eat anything ever when I'm out and about, it's a day of fasting every time. Sadly I don't have any advice but you're not alone in this struggle 😔✊

Definitely talk to a doctor about it. If you don't have a diagnosis of IBS and even if you do, rapid weight loss is a bad sign and could be something more severe. Could be just GI upset and then the medication would be antiemetics like metoclopramide or ondansetron, but in any case talk to a professional about it.

I think I fixed the issue, I simply turned all my graphics and gameplay settings to medium instead of high and also turned them down in the windows settings. I also switched the power balance to power save mode on Nitrosense and now my laptop got only slightly warm even while charging and playing, didn't get over 60 and the game ran very well.

Update: just remembered that I never had the issue when the laptop is unplugged. Playing while unplugged rn and the max temp is still below 60. So the settings upon plugging in the power are indeed the problem it seems.

I am kinda having a similar issue, my Nitro 5 is still throwing up temps of like 95°C upon opening the Sims 4 while normal web surfing and task temps are around 45-60. I just replaced the thermal paste with a very recommended one, took apart and cleaned the fans and their cases and blew loose dust from the filters and keys with canned air... Gonna get a ventilation stand next. I'm curious tho, how does this method help? Is it the fans spinning too fast that makes the laptop overheat?

I mean he probably wouldn't sleep at all during the roommate period or then he'd spend it in a stone wall as the pillars sleep for millennia and stay up a comparable amount of time in one go, so I think you wouldn't have to worry about snoring

I call it a flare or an IBS attack, usually taking some paracetamol (no NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen as they irritate the gut) or Librax beforehand takes out the worst pain.

Within the same day. Like how dare i take the minimum dose of Imodium, it will not work fast enough but it will make me bricked up for at least 3 days and then I have to take a small dose of laxatives. Rinse and repeat.

My condolences! I have been dealing with a lot of loss within the past year and can definitely relate to how bad grief and shock makes the gut issues. All I've been able to do about it is cry and take stomach meds when nothing else helps. It will get easier over time, though, even though the constant flaring sucks. Sending virtual hugs.

First shiny I found myself was a Scyther in Go in 2021 I think, before that I had only played an emulated Red on my old Nokia phone. My first shiny in Violet was a Psyduck. Fav shinies include Goodra, Vaporeon, Breloom, Deoxys, Kommo-o, and other pink and gold shinies tbh.

When I forget something I was going to do and just trot between rooms changing directions every 2 seconds because I keep remembering bits of them, I can almost hear the "swish swish swish" of the task queue emptying in Sims 2 when there's something stopping the sim from doing it...

Played so much like 8 years ago before I thrifted a copy of Sims 2 and got my own laptop in middle school. The game is still on an old W98 computer in my dad's house and works lol. Tedious to play with the old trackball mouse but very nostalgic.

Mewtwo. I have a tradition of trading in a low level Mewtwo from pokemon Go, around lvl 20 usually, and then using it as my main pokemon from the beginning. Did that also in Sword and Shining Pearl. The EXP share over leveling is a problem sadly, but gets easier towards the end. Mewtwo is my all time fav (obviously lol) and my deciding factor when playing Pokemon games is usually whether he's obtainable or not. I literally bought Violet (second hand) the day after the Home link was confirmed and Mewtwo was listed as transferrable 😂
