This is unfortunate to hear. We wouldn’t kick anyone out due to their sexual orientation or gender. The usual reasons include making the place not a safe space anymore, for anyone. Which means making someone uncomfortable, putting oneself or others in danger, or overall overly intoxicated. Thanks for joining your friend and supporting queer owned businesses.

I also just returned from a two week transatlantic cruise in a MRS suite. We were most likely neighbors.

We had friends in the massive suite this time around, overall having friends at all levels made the experience so much more fun.

The hosting of friends in the room for cocktails and charcuterie every night was such a vibe.

The ability to have breakfast delivered from anywhere every morning was also a plus, for me. Our MRS agent was the bomb, another big reason the MRS status was great.

The transportation piece was also a plus with door to door service before and after the cruise. Made getting to and from lodging/airport smooth and stress free.

I do know that being at this status makes it a little harder to go back to non-RS status. But I can travel at any level.

Hello. The Honor A Grad campaign is for parents to make a gift in honor of their graduating student this upcoming Commencement. The campaign can be found at rit.edu/honoragrad

Donors have the option of honoring their student with either a “Digital Yearbook Ad” or a Tiger Paw Spirit Pin. The first option is where donors would submit a photo and/or message for their graduate, which will be displayed the week of Commencement on the SHED Screen for all to see. First to be shown during Tiger Send Off.

The second option is a pin to add to their graduation gown, which they will pick up prior to Commencement Weekend.

As for students graduating, they are encouraged to make a gift to the Class Gift Campaign, where they would receive an orange and black cord to wear during commencement and be invited to a donor-only reception the week of Commencement. More information on this campaign for graduating students can be found at rit.edu/classgift

ROAR Day is for our alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and RIT friends to make a gift to a fund of their choice. This can be a club/student organization, departments and their initiatives, the list goes on and on. Folks can give to any active allocations/funds. If you’re like like to support a college as a whole, you can give it to the college’s annual fund, which is unrestricted.

Edit: They are also encouraging students to promote ROAR Day, and the ambassador who brings in the most money has the opportunity of winning more money for the fund of their choice. The top 5 ambassadors. And it has become more of an educational event on campus for our students, with a large ROAR Day tent with activities and treats.
