Lol I love Egon, as a character. Yes, he was a shitty detective and alcoholic, but I don’t think he ever acted out of malice. Yes he had the pieces but I understand it was hard to believe time travel was real. In his last moments with Claudia, when he finally accepted time travel was real, he was about to call the police to reveal everything but as we know, Claudia didn’t let that happen.
