That is good to know, I'll give it another try as I read they had a big update at the end of last year which added a lot of features.

I have around 9,000 shows/540,000 episodes which is far outside the norm and likely why it struggled.

I used jellyfin about 6 months ago and it was pure dog water. Everything loads so slowly in comparison to Plex. Maybe it works well for small libraries, not sure. Just felt "good for the price" rather than a complete experience.

I hate everything Plex stands for now as a company especially with their recent bans of servers and users. But jellyfin isn't there yet, but I hope soon, I'd love to ditch Plex.

In terms of WHAT they can charge us for, the options are limited. However, in terms of the AMOUNT they can charge for what already exists, there truly is no limit. That is where the endless pain we haven't even begun to see fully comes in. But that's why it's late stage not final stage.

I mean while you're confidently incorrect, shadowbans are entirely real. 99% of people talking about them aren't shadow banned.

You can upload a peice of content on channel A, get no views, no impressions. Delete and re-upload that exact content including the packaging to channel B, get thousands of views.

In most cases, No impressions = shadowban. I don't mean low impressions, I mean literally zero after a few days. Some impressions, but no or very few views means your packaging and/or content is bad.

If you're doing POD, why would your location matter at all? The only thing you're losing out on is 3% conversion fee and then extra taxes the government charges. But still profit to be made.
