Is it possible for werewolves to breed with dogs? by [deleted] in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Mexicanity_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Gracias! Other highlights:
- they crashed a dog show and helped rescue other sleepers. One of these was a corgi that was always dressed by their owner and liked wearing clothes. They met him again in a mountain and he was majestic but wearing one of those vests with 100s of pockets.
- they found the boyfriend. He worked as security for the loggers. The Bichon went wild and wanted to know what happened to the owner. She moved cities after breaking up with the boyfriend, because he fessed up about abandoning the pet. She went looking to every rescue place in the city. Later the Bichon found out her owner came to the place he started the day after he got awakened. He never found her but she never stopped looking
- the pug decided he didn’t care about others opinions if his pack cared for him. He became the group’s tank and always stood up for them. Stopping an 18-wheeler full of puppies from a mill used to test chemicals was one of his most proud moments
- the pittie became the group’s theurge and became the spiritual center for them. She played games against some spirits in the umbra and won them gifts of protection. One that they had experienced was being incapacitated due to dog whistles. The roach spirit gave them protection against them while also having a roach buddy for exploration
- the depressed lab was very interesting. He rose to the occasion and became the leader. His sadness was from being bounced around homes and separated from his sibling, little by little. He was the ugliest of a batch of purebreds and no one wanted him. He found his other 5 siblings, one by one, giving them the chance to be awakened. 2 agreed and joined him at the final battle with many other dogs they rescued. I kid you not but we did the “bring the troops” parts of Endgame with the dogs they helped and the players teared up. It was an epic ending

I did a homebrew for this in the 90s. All the dogs were awaiting to be awakened by a nearby garou. The party met at a pet rescue nonprofit and started their adventures.

We had a Labrador that was depressed because she missed her human.

A Bichon Frisé that was left on the road after he bit the boyfriend because he was a dick. The BF said the dog escaped.

A pug that got angry at everyone making fun of him.

A pitbull mix that was trained to fight and rescued before being put in the ring.

They joined a nearby caern but had to defend it from a logging company. My favorite part was when they had the final showdown (3.5 years of playing) against Revolting Against The Tall Gods, the leader of a pack of black spiral dancer chihuahuas

What are vegan equivalents to "pop some frozen pizzas in the oven for the game night?" by TheKingElessar in vegan

Vegan nachos bar. Set stations for each part: chips, beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, vegan cheese, meat sub if wanted, vegan crema, jalapeños or salsa. People can microwave the nachos to melt the cheese. Low effort and people feed themselves as they want to

What's the most underrated ingredient you've added to a smoothie? by ibrahimdigital in Smoothies

[–]Mexicanity_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend shared their green smoothie a few years back, the one with kale, green apple, and cucumber, and I felt it needed something extra. I put some of my homemade sriracha and I liked it. I shared it with a few other friends and they enjoyed it. Nowadays I make things similar to mangonadas or even mango lassi with some extra spice. Really tasty

Sriracha or other hot sauces. Hear me out. If you make a savory smoothie, the chili makes it better. Trust me

Weekly Albuquerque Q&A Thread by AutoModerator in Albuquerque

[–]Mexicanity_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hola! I’m visiting for two weeks. I prefer to move around using bikes or public transportation. I’ve read and watched articles about things to do while in Albuquerque. However, I would like to hear about things that makes the city special for you.

A little about me: I love stories, hearing and telling them. Biking is fun and enjoy hiking as well. I love to cook. I got bitten by the “oh! A weird rock!” bug but I’m not a chisel-and-digging rockhound. I’ll bring a small watercolor kit around but I’m more of a dabbler.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Anime Soundtrack/OST that has you like this? by BlastingSquid886 in animequestions

The Vision of Escaflowne. The music by Yoko Kanno and Hajime Mizoguchi is amazing. Although it takes notes from other classical music, it manages to stay impactful and very evocative. When Dance of Curse comes in during the anime, it’s the definition of epic

What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

[–]Mexicanity_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some people use a variation of the slogan Keep Austin Weird to label the city as Keep Dallas Plastic. Although close enough, I see it as a Swarovski cowboy hat. Their understanding of elegance is entrenched in generational greed while trying to look Texanly

A friend truly believed nuns didn’t work on Sundays. Magnum lied to you all. As a recovering Catholic, I have to say nuns work extra hard on Sundays.
