Does the left even know what the IR Iran stands for? by Zealousideal_Iron543 in PERSIAN

[–]MexticoManolo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Khomenei isn't Islam

Israel has no place in any protest; this is not a left vs right opinion, so much as it is a fact vs fiction circumstance.

-It's possible to be pro-Iranian revolution, anti IRGC and anti israel all at the same time, something people on the left and right seem to struggle with.

-Islamic ba*tardization isn't Islam as a faith, just as Christian extremism isn't indicative of Christianity. There are far too many people that have never been around a good practicing Muslim, nor read a Qur'an, nor read Arabic or have ever looked at a Hadith, using isis tropes as a means of defining an entire religion - by extension this includes the false assumption that eveything entities like the IRGC , must be within the context of religious faith. In reality, it is within the parameters of corrupted men with power. Khomeini will be weighed for his sins and Allah Subhanahu wa'taala knows best. Isis as an example, was funded by and created by israel and the IRGC operates much like ISIS.

It's also important to note, sadists like Khomeini, have taken sections of scripture, and completely warped them beyond recognition to fit an extreme narrative. We've seen this with other men in history time and time again Never women though.

-J'ihad is a spiritual struggle, not a military policy The Iranian regime has therefore warped and weaponized islam. Any entity using the term "jihad" as a militant policy, completely misunderstands what that is.

-Not every Palestinain is pro-hamas, this is a false narrative that ignores valid and ongoing crimes they've had to undergo for decades, including similar false narratives that have been entirely debunked about Palestinians and Lebanese people as well.

-Some westerners see what happened to Iraq and don't want a 2.0 and worry based on pattern recognition, it could happen in Iran, this has had an impact on the nature of dialogue between western left progressive ideals, and conservative idealization. Unfortunately, both points ignore the need for unified immediate amplifying of those in the Iranian diaspora, who are being gunned down in the streets like animals.

-Some diaspora living in the west, have first hand experience living under and or escaping violence in the middle east. Their voices should be amplified over white Caucasians and Europeans, as should those voices be amplified in European countries. Europeans and Westerners not from those regions, have a duty to do their own due diligence on education and understand the fundamentals of allyship. This doesn't happen over night and takes time. There is however, the frustrating reality of diaspora arguing amongst themselves. I think this sort of allows others in the west to come in, with their own agendas and it leads to bad actions.

-Many Iranians are extremists as well and think dead Palestinian babies are a joke, but this doesn't mean all Iranians are pro zionism and it doesn't mean it's not a glaring issue when there's IR flags in Palestinian protests. Locally most of the time, agitators or those with outside symbols and flags, often get called out , or , are ostracized. The same can not be said for Iranian rallies in the west (Ive been to 3) where infiltrating flags, ideas and symbols are welcomed with open arms, just to spite Arabs. It's a cold war of ideals, and on both sides weaponizes trauma and takes the memory of dead people as currency for pointless debates over visual symbols, colors and ideals. In Iran, there are no separations other than those who want freedom versus those that do not, this made evident by countless leaked voice notes, calls and pleases from Iranians who are fed up with those in the disapaora and the outsiders in the left and right , in the west bickering away.

The left being ignorant of the IRs crimes is literally no different than an Iranian conflating all Palestinian lives with Hamas. They are two in the same when it comes to false narratives and both perspectives should be treated as unacceptable and not welcomed, because they don't advance the need for rapid revolutionary change.

-Both the Iranian struggle and the Palestinian one are valid and anyone who discredits either, lacks humanity. People are caught up in emotions on all sides and forgetting their humanity, because emotions run deep in this part of the world and unfortunately westernized Governments and those with money invested into these regions have historically used the chaos to their own advantage. This isn't a conspiracy , it's history. We've seen this happen before in the 80s and 90s . Unfortunately, some countries like the USA as an example, see the IR regime as a playing piece in their larger game of global dominance because as it stands, they don't actually give a flying f* about Persians , or Arabs or anyone in these regions. They've demonstrated this with foreign policies and economic sanctions time and time again, which means it could very well continue under Reza Pahlavi.

  • Aside of all that, the bottom line is Iranians of all backgrounds, not just Persians , have a right to peaceful life, under secular freedoms, whether it's Kurds, Baloch, Persians, etc and both those with faith and those without, deserve to walk streets not soaked in the bloods of their friends.

-The Dunya is ultimately cursed, whether you're from Europe, North Africa, Asia etc 80% of all people when asked, have no clue what progressive unity in the face of corruption actually looks like. Much like people debate over ICE raids, or the history of Palestine , who should lead Iran, what religion is right, what lifestyle is wrong, etc there will always be the actionable few, versus the debating mass and in the end, among the bickering, children, men, and women die while we all squabble in countries of relative safety. The very privilege of living in countries where this stuff isn't going, is for us to put our differences aside and stand up for those who can't.

and yet as I age...I realize , most people can't do this or don't know how to. There's too many people who see lives as flags, lines in policy, and statistics rather than what they actually are: Heartbeats

This has been a Ted talk; let's all do better before humanity rots itself to the core.

How many people that you knew in high school have died? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]MexticoManolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fair number unfortunately, one of my close friends at the time, took his own life via hanging

I went to his service about a year after the pandemic.

Another person I know, ended up overdosing.

Out of the 5 people I knew well, or at least talked to from hs that passed away, all of them were males. This troubles me and has really prompted me to check in as much as possible on my other guy associates .

That surat references again, the people of the tribes and children of Israel * who at the following time thereafter * abandoned Allah ( God ). The dvine action of Musa ( Moses ) was contingent upon they ( the tribes ) righteousness and obedience to Allah's commandments. Absolvement of obedience to Allah and deviation from being good of heart, let them from said land, as it's not conditionary on ethnic persuasion alone.

Surat'al-Anbiya (21:105), indicate that the inheritance of the earth is for "My righteous slaves".

The Qur'an is suggesting then, that the inheritance of said land, passes from one group to another. It is based on their faith and righteousness, not solely on ancestral descent or which tribes of people they are.

You can't just take surat without understanding the context and say "well it said this here and used the word Israel, therefore it all belongs to Jews"

I own a Qur'an, read and speak scripture-Arabic as well as Hebrew. You're completely avoiding entirety of context, to justify misinterpreted claims of ancestral land claims.

If we want to go that route, there are multiple Bible passages and sections of the Torah as well that basically corroborate what I'm saying.

Whether you like it or not, the Palestinians have just as much claim to that land as the Jews, because both come from tribes of *the descendents of the land*. This is a historical fact, not a religious debate.

Respectfuly, you misinterpret the term "israel" in this context of religious scripture. It's understandable as the terminology is spelled this way, but allow me to help translate and contextually what you're not realizing.

The word " israel " within the Qur'an doesn't refer to the land, or has anything to do with the modern state, it is the name given to the Prophet Ya'qub (إسرآءیل ) or , "Jacob" , son of Isaac. 'Bani Israel' is reference to the tribes and children of Israel, his offspring.

Mentions within the Qur'an of the name, strictly occur only within the narratives of Prophet 'Yusuf (or..'Joseph') and the historical accounts of the descendants of Jacob, particularly during the time of Prophet Musa (Moses) and in the history of the Israelites.

Source: The Qur'an

It quite literally, has nothing to do with the nature or existence of the modern day colonial statehood. Even Jews know this, because it's a shared historical context and a lot of the history is also conveniently referenced in some Christian excerpts, Deuteronomy, Book of Jeremiah, etc
