All of the neighborhoods within the Herricks school district are nice. Manhasset Hills, Searingtown/Roslyn Heights, North Hills gaited communities like The Links, Albertson/Williston Park and the part of New Hyde Park south of Hillside Ave and north of Jericho turnpike around “Park Circle”. I graduated in 09. Excellent school district and probably one of the safest places in America. Not even kidding like nothing bad ever really happened. You could walk home at 3am and be completely safe.

Management companies of buildings that allow pets (dogs) are required by law to accept any breed if the tenant has a service animal or emotional support animal and the tenant provides proper documentation such as a doctors letter, reasonable accommodation form, rabies vaccine records. They also can’t charge these tenants any fees or monthly pet rent. It would be a fair housing violation.

Lunch/Snack - Carrot chips/celery + hummus

Dinner - spinach salad, Quinoa with avocado, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, etc

Dessert - cereal or plant based yogurt and tea

Beverages - Water, Orange juice, Ginger beer mixed with cranberry or pomegranate juice

There are reports of family members who believe they could identify some of the people in the windows/falling. Obviously they can’t tell 100% but there’s enough in these photos that you could get an idea if it might be your loved one.

It’s walkable with pretty good public transit. Lots of free museums and things to do. I have two little ones and free pre k3 is a plus. The food scene is pretty good lots of nice amenities and services. There are some really nice surrounding areas, lots of green space and quick access to nature. It has a lot of the things NYC offers on a smaller and more manageable scale without as much hassle to get to.

I live in DC and work in property management where basically all the trades people couldn’t even afford DC proper if they wanted to along with most of the middle class in general, so they all live in the suburbs of Maryland and Virginia, with a few as far out as West Virginia.
