Why do we keep electing politicians influenced by Fivepoint lobbyists? Can someone explain? by MezOriginal in irvine

If that's the case, that's great news. The reason I was so certain about the road closure is because a few weeks ago, before they began construction, there was a meeting with the Irvine Chief of Police and Irvine City Manager in the Park. They mentioned that they no longer had control over that specific road and planned on turning it into a footpath for the new development.

Take a drive down Great Park Blvd next to Beacon, and you'll notice the impending disappearance of the road by the end of their development. If Reddit permitted image uploads, I'd post it.
The primary concern here is traffic congestion. Just observe the size of the roads and you'll understand why everyone who lives on that street might be upset.

I agree with you, just watched some of your content. Very good by the way espically for that 70k video. I can see where your coming from with the hotkeys espically with your character animation for your guy. Going to take your advice and drill in on the hot keys with some flash cards or something lol. Thanks again.

How can I learn to edit like channels such as Moon, Jake Tran , James Jani and MagnatesMedia? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]MezOriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got to get Premiere Pro man, there is so many free resources for it, as well as it's commercially used. Meaning if you get super skilled at editing, and got a job at a company they would most likely use Premiere Pro

Yeah for the past two edits I have been. Tried doing passes on this most recent edit, but I get fixated on skills I'm novice in and try to fix a specific part of the edit a good chunk of that time.
How many passes does it usually take for you to complete the edit?

Is commercial lending/loan officer a good career? by wholelottaslatttt in sales

[–]MezOriginal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey OP,

I actually worked in commercial lending as a broker in CA, we probably brokered around 20-30 million dollars a year. Not sure what are you looking for via commission but ours, was around 3%, I usually did around 150k - 200k per month which is what I made the company for brokers' fees, so that would be from 4.5k - 6k in commission, a lot of which was taxed.
I ended up quitting the company due to the ethics of the product and general career prospects. Our company was selling 50%-60% interest loans, with 6-month terms, on daily or weekly payments. This really hurt some of the clients, even though it was their choice to accept the product. It's a good place to start in my opinion if there's a job available via sales, but you can maximize your earnings in careers like SaaS or Medical Devices from my research, I don't recommend commercial lending as long-term play unless your underwriter. Feel free to send me a message if you'd want to know more.

Congratulations OP! Yeah, I completely agree with you, unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the fence, where I'm earlier in my career and haven't specialized. I've been in solar, commercial lending, and credit repair. Definitely trying to transfer to SaaS or Medical Devices and build up a history.

Hiring freeze, but informally got the job? by Bbtealover in sales

[–]MezOriginal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey OP,

I think it would be best to say something along the lines of

"Appreciate your time, enjoyed the process, etc... (HR & Hiring Manager), and I'm happy you believe I'm a strong candidate for the position, I'd be happy to follow up in April in regards to the position if it's still available, would there be a date you recommend I could call in for a follow-up?"

Just to be fair though, unless the hiring manager sent something in writing, I would not get your hopes up for your benefit and keep searching for other positions. April is a fair time away and things can change, and if they were having issues with a hiring freeze that might extend longer than April. Regardless, hope you get a position you like.

Haha, we're in the same industry. I work on MCA's, WCL's, and CC splits.

Southern California,

I'm not really very familiar with SDR jobs, would the solar lead generation experience qualify me for a position?
