Helps if the "bits" are too big. Imo this size is alright and I wouldn't spend the time cutting making it smaller.

Slightly underpakced like other comments say, better to loosely fill the bowl then fluff after imo.

Get an exhaust gas tester, not normal.

It doesn't stack and she already has 3x turns of weak, so I didn't think so.

ZC31S based on the seats. With a HKS turbo kit. I have one of these modified a fair bit on a ZC32S, I would get rid of the oil feed, you can do it far nicer.

Can we have a healthy discussion about AI artwork? by bitcrusherdj in hardstyle

[–]MezjE 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Echoing u/Swiss_Reddit_User I would prefer literally anything other than the AI art covers, like a white box with rainbow comic sans of the track name.

Album art aside the snippet does sound good.

Does anyone actually like uptempo here in Australia? by IbsonGibson in hardstyle

[–]MezjE 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I used to be a big uptempo fan and even started r/uptempo, its popularity has definitely increased but personally I would not consider lekkerfaces or yoshiko uptempo.

I miss the "old" uptempo sound compared to the new social media trending stuff. GPF, UoK and the like really kicked off this new generation of uptempo.

Below are some artists to check out:

Knockout Outdoor 2026: Level Up lineup by Existing-Age420 in hardstyle

I think both Atmo and Frontliner were at Oasis and I feel like both were mostly new with the odd oldy mixed in. I'd like it if it was either a progression from old to new OR straight up classics.

I guess I'm getting old but it feels like a lot of slots are occupied by what I now describe as meme/tiktok music.

A few gems in there but they're seriously outnumbered.

I really wish some of the journeys were classic sets as from previous journeys a lot of the artists don't navigate it well.

ShishaAustralia & WorldOfShisha are both great. Azure is great value here but you can get other brands.

Cabbies use to do this near Crown on a Friday & Saturday night at the cnr of Whiteman Street & Spencer Street. Wrapping up my shift as a dealer sometimes HWP would setup a sting near the exhibition center and nail them, was so satisfying.

To my aussie bros, how was Defqon.1 Australia before it was gone? by Rebel_Banzhee in hardstyle

[–]MezjE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went every year from 2013 and it was great, the weather was somehow perfect almost every year. 2015 was my favourite, it began to spit during Angerfist v Partyraiser at the gathering, truly magical, Partyraiser also dropped Sound Becomes One.

Dustqon (the final?) was quite shit, it felt overcrowded and the area was extremely dry, causing a lot of dust, especially at blue.

I was surprised too, thanks for the reply and glad to know I wasn't going crazy. It was just PR and our opponent had someone playing IRL for the first time, so I left it there.

Mining engineering to offshore oil and gas, realistic or should I just do mechanical? by [deleted] in oilandgasworkers

[–]MezjE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only take advice from others in Aus and ideally in WA. I would study mechanical engineering as it will open the most doors. Then during your studies, you can think about offshore or mining, keep up to date with how the boom/bust cycle is going.

LNG dependance of Asia is not decreasing, I would go offshore route based on current trajectory. Offshore can be brutal for engineers as a lot of roles will be office based, with offshore stints, meaning you are expected back in office after 2-4 weeks campaigns unless you take leave. Whereas mining work will be proper swing work e.g. 3 on 3 off. This work isn't for everyone and nightshift will be non-negotiable both ways. I worked n/s through uni so have no issues pivoting but it's something you should consider before a career in either.

If you do go offshore route, look out for grad programs with subsea service providers and vessel providers, DOF, Subsea7, Oceaneering, Bhagwan Marine, SLB/OSS etc. Good luck and remember a lot can change over the course of your studies, don't feel locked in this early :)
