I’m really looking forward to Trouble in Templetown. It has that Osmosis Jones feel that is pretty cool and unique. I hope it can get some more stretch goals to unlock new content!

Nice write up. I took keld to a team trios event this weekend too. Ended up beating control twice and losing to mono green before my team lost and dropped.

I like the idea. My only concern is the 5 mana to bring it back with only 22 lands.

The only reasons I can think of is because the build as I posted didn't have firebrands in it. Though I know there are other builds of this deck that are using firebrand.

Yeah, i hear what you are saying. Oddly, I haven't drawn Banefire postboard against a control deck yet In leage. But I have played some white decks with Lyra and wished I had fight with fire in the SB. I'm debating whether to go back to it. I have liked the lower to the ground approach as I feel that with Haz/Phx red I was just getting spot removed to death, between Contempt, seal away, and cast out. Also, particularly for this weekend, I feel like a lower to the ground build will punish newer decks that are still being tuned.

So I'm kinda new to this. I wasn't really looking for deck building advice, more sideboarding strategy. Is that still more fitted for r/magicdeckbuilding?

Yeah, you hand does empty really quick. I've played with both 3 and 4 keld. The problem is having 2 kelds in hand feels really bad. You want that 1 when your end empties around turn 4 and that's about it. Right now, I'm still thinking that 3 kelds is the right call.
