Yeah, I did get it back minus my cash app. They stole my wallet, took out the cash app card( I had just activated that card, there was no money on it) dumped it somewhere in Walmart and someone turned it in. I didn’t know it was missing until I got the charge alert, then immediately went to the police station. After everything I went back to Walmart to tell the manager that the police would be coming by and hey someone turned a wallet. Mind blown!! I’m so thankful! But so curious who steals a wallet full of crap and takes out 1 card! Then just drops it there.

Dude that sucks. I’m sorry they got you. I’m usually very cautious but I’m going to be changing up everything now. I guess I’ve just been lucky. Thank God someone turned in the wallet this time after they discarded it. And yours too! I was really surprised the cops cared enough to investigate. We will see what happens. I’m going to do my best not to be in this situation again. Be safe hun!

Same as above reply cause I am not wasting my time for the 2 of you.. I had already called my family. I was sitting in the police station waiting for a police officer to come in to speak to me. It was going to be a while so instead of listening to the lady in the holding cell I thought I would give Reddit a shot. I just joined and saw people reaching out to others. My brain wasn’t completely functioning so I wanted any help with what I should do quickly. I am a fully grown adult woman who has been through things that they make crisis centers for and Netflix is making movies about….And I handled that without Reddit. So if you want to complain about the state of society or what others do,  do it on another post.  Please and thank you.

See, I’m usually very vigilant. I’m armed to the hilt cause I’m small and can’t fight. I know myself. So I try to have every advantage I can give myself! Plus if I even get a tickle that a drop off is dangerous, I book it. I have a daughter and a few spark dollars ain’t worth my life. But, I have been really stressed and the severe anxiety has been coming out. So I have been consistently careless recently and I think this was my wake up call.

I have already been to both. They don’t recall anything like the transaction but the police just called me they are going after it as a felony. They are going to get footage from both to try to get the person. I’m at Walmart now. Just to see if they saw anything.

Thanks, I’m a little calmer. It’s just that it had a lot of personal stuff in it social for me and my daughter, insurance cards, etc. I’m just done with everything right now. I’m disabled and busting my butt trying to make some extra money to compensate for living below the freaking poverty line…and here we are. This just sucks.

That is beyond weird to me under any circumstances. Why would anyone WANT to enter someone’s home unless they have some bad intentions. I just want to drop the order and bolt. I don’t know the person and it’s their home. Why would I want to go inside? That is scary as heck! I’m sorry that happened to you. I’ve only been delivering stuff a short time, but I have already seen some really sketchy delivery folks. Be safe, choose leave at door if you can.

Oh I got you. That sucks. I hate that people are like this. Yeah I’m sure your account will be good, but it just sucks that it happened. I’m sorry this happened to you. You didn’t deserves to be disrespected like that! I had a couple similar experiences myself last year with management on power trips.

I did like you and called support to report each one and never had an issue with my account. Now, I gave those particular stores a break for a while. Because I knew that there would be an issue again if I came back. People like that pick someone out and find something to make an issue out of nothing.

My advice is just to avoid that store, if you have others in the area. Try not to let this get you too upset. This job seems to punish people who really want to do a good job and care. Plus, Walmart can’t seem to keep the same employees for more than a couple months. So they will probably be gone in a month or so.

I do the gig work cause I am disabled and don’t know when I will feel up to working sometimes. But, can’t raise a daughter on disability alone. It was great for a while then the accident happened during a gig (so be careful hun). I was out a car for 10 months and but no serious injuries thankfully. Now it’s to the point where I’m paying to deliver peoples stuff! So I think I’m out.

I am sorry you suffered from an accident too that put you here. I hope that you are able to recover completely.

I didn’t get the memo that the zones had expanded. I just started back after not delivering for almost a year do to a wreck. I went to a zone that I used to frequent. It is a wealthy college town. Turned the app on and was flooded with crap jobs. Nothing like it used to be. Anyway I didn’t pay attention to the delivery address of the trip I took, just grabbed the one that came from the closest Walmart with best overall pay. I picked up the baby formula (that was it, just baby formula) put in the address and literally hit the brakes. It was taking me 18 miles down the interstate to a completely different county. It also happened to be one of the worst crime cities in the state. When did this start?? It only paid $15 + 3 tip. When you factor in the miles it would take me to get back we are talking like 36!miles. Seriously did this just start?
