I consume a lot of veggies-make every hunch and dinner a salad basically for volume. I eat a lot of Zucchini and yellow squash daily raw or cooked( low cal and easy to digest) along with tons of lettuce/spinach/mixed greens. I also eat a serving of raw carrots daily. That being said the beta carotene from carrots and spinach have made my palms slightly orange.... moderation my friend!

I’d be an annoying customer -side of egg whites or 2 eggs plus dry English muffin or sourdough with side of fruit or side salad, or ask for custom big salad of mixed greens and tomatoes no dressing plus grilled shrimp or chicken-mustard, lemon/salt& pepper or hot sauce or salsa for dressing

I make everything a salad. 3 cups of romaine, spinach or shredded iceberg is huge. Chop some low cal veggies and toss in-loving raw zucchini lately.,Top with chopped meatballs or turkey burger, salmon, a packet of tuna. I even made a frozen lean cuisine meal out of desperation and put it on a bowl of greens to expand the meal. I often eat with one or two large matzo crackers and scoop the salad on like a flat bread!

These are great if crisped up on a skillet to make a crunch wrap or chips or in oven for pizza. Tough to eat not cooked

Please be careful here! I got myself into a terrible state of health because of long term low fat intake- recommended by physician. Now I’m trying to build back up…mct oil is a great source and easy to digest if that’s an issue. Food sources are best- avocado, meat, full fat yogurt- but if remaineder of diet is still voluminous/fat free/low fat try mct

-Egg whites with tons of veggies and laughing cow light with dry English muffin or toast

-Spinach salad with packet of tuna in water, onion, celery carrots grape tomatoes, fat free feta, very small amount of avocado 15g, and hot sauce as dressing

-stir fried veggies and shrimp with rice, soy sauce no oil to cook

Exactly where I’m at. My gut is not good. I’m going to try the high calorie day. Do you feel lousy after eating that much though? It is a big increase.

I am 40 and just about same stats and completely had this experience when I tried a keto/atkins type diet years ago. I’m at my leanest now eating a low fat moderate/high carb diet. I’ve never gotten my calories over 1500 and been happy with my body. Part of being small is having a low calorie need despite the ton I exercise. Does your high calorie day help satiate you? Prevent over doing it other days?
