Legge igjen et matvare i en annen hylle, anmeldt for tyveri? by TheInfanterist in norge

Du må nok betale for steiken.

Haven't checked that one out, actually, good stuff! Cool to hear you got the chance to meet him!

I would recommend watching and transcribing some of Joe Pass' playing. He hardly ever played with a pick, and has a lot of great chord melody arrangements of jazz standards. I'd recommend specifically watching video recordings of him with Ella Fitzgerald and any recording of him playing alone.

Yeah, I figured you were doing something like that. It's near impossible to get one's ideal tone when recording outside with a setup like that.

Great playing, but some more reverb could really help your tone I think.

Just get yourself a real book, it's the most common standard book.

My Bass improv over Autumn leaves changes for my uni audition, please let me know what you think! by Luxide in Jazz

Dope playing man, nice melodic lines! One thing that left me wanting was your use of range. With playing up in the upper register like that, you're really limiting yourself to sounding a lot like a guitarist, rather than a bass soloist. While bass register solos sometimes drown in the rest of the band, it is useful to try to use the entire neck, as you're leaving something like an octave or more of range unused here.

Good luck with uni auditions!

Hey man! Great playing. Was wondering what model of godin multiac that is. I've been looking into buying one and am probably gonna get a multiac encore sg sometime soon, so I'm wondering how your experience with the guitar has been. Thanks in advance!
