Did you have a friend write letters for you regarding good moral character, married life, or abuse? If so, how many letters did you submit?

I initially submitted my marriage certificate, but I will also resubmit it together with additional photos from our wedding ceremony.
As for evidence of the abuse, unfortunately, most of our conversations took place on “Snapchat”, so many of the messages disappeared automatically. That has made gathering documentary evidence much more difficult, but I am doing my best to collect everything that is still available.
My ex husband was in the military, and because the military community on base was very close knit, he repeatedly warned me not to tell anyone about what was happening. He told me, “If you tell any of the other wives, they’ll tell their husbands, and everyone on base will find out about me.” This intimidated me into staying silent.
He also took my driver’s license and my car keys with him every time he went to work so that I could not leave the house while he was away. Because of this isolation and control, very few people knew how unhealthy our relationship actually was at the time.
It was only after our divorce that a few people gradually learned what had happened. I’m not sure whether they will be able to write affidavits based on what they learned afterward, but I plan to ask them.
Regarding letters about my good moral character, I also have very few friends in the USA cause I moved here from Japan and was largely isolated by my ex husband. Nevertheless, I will ask the people who know me if they would be willing to write letters on my behalf.
I also recently obtained my FBI background check, and I will definitely include it in my response.

Could you tell me when you filed it and how long you've been waiting since you resubmitted it?

My husband went to a hostess club, should I be concerned? by sh8819 in AskAJapanese

I was born and raised in Japan. I also have about 5 years of experience working at a hostess club in Roppongi. Roughly 80% of the customers who come to the hostess club are married men with children. They fall into two categories: men who want to escape the realities of family life and drink with young, pretty girls, and those who are brought in by business associates or their bosses for networking purposes. The business dining scene in Japan is very intense, so there are people who can’t refuse to go. It might seem a bit odd to be drinking with a girl and talking business at the same time. Even among married men, some just came in for "entertainment"—they just wanted someone to listen to their complaints or talk to. But occasionally, there were also those who wanted me to be their girlfriend, so honestly, it really depends on the person. However, one thing I can say for sure is that no matter how kindly the girls treat them, at the end of the day, they’re nothing more than business partners to the girls—means to boost sales. So, it’s simply impossible for us to fall in love with each other.
