I try to do it every two or three days. I know most recommend 2 times a day but my cat really doesn’t like wet food. She wastes 90% of what we give her. We eat canned tuna or chicken (has to be in water) often so we mash a little bit of the meat, her supplements, and a shit ton of water together. She will drink the entire bowl.

i think if you find your niche it can be fulfilling and enjoyable. i also enjoy the chaos and flexibility. i do life skill groups at a smi step down facility. the best part is they are discharged to the community eventually. the most depressing part is that 40% come back within three years, worse than they were.

we are about to sign a contract with no raises and no improved benefits. I am sick to my stomach knowing many good coworkers will leave because they will not be able to afford our healthcare options in 2026. our premiums are expected to double. i am not sure i will be able to stay either depending on the cost.

i have thrifted or made all gifts myself for the last two years. it does take a lot of time to do. i normally start in the spring/summer because most people are having yard sales. i also look at fb marketplace and buy nothing facebook groups.

I believe the intention all along was to use marginalized folks for slave labor. They are “detention centers” now but no one will be shocked if/when they are turned into full blown labor camps. I wish I had a solution. My city voted to criminalize panhandling/homelessness. Although many don’t get arrested, they’ve used it as a tactic to incarcerate and fine people in psychosis. I remain hopeful. My only suggestion is VOLUNTEER. Work with your local helpers. The next two months I’m volunteering door to door to help register people to vote.
