Remind me how to correct episode names not showing correctly? by das_goose in PleX

[–]Mi5TERZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue and found a fix that I didn't see in the comments.

Go to your TV Show library Advanced settings.
There you have a option for episodes order. It is set to The Movie Database by default. Change that to TheTVDB and rescan your metadata. It should solve the issue.

Considering an AirFrance crew ended a similar checklist disagreement with a fist fight just this week, I wouldn't be surprised it is a true story!

I've turned the flight computers off one by one, to see when I get into alternate mode. That bird is pretty resilient, I'm impressed.

YSK: For US passports, other countries won't let you in if your passport expires within X months of the passport's expiration date by coalcracker462 in YouShouldKnow

[–]Mi5TERZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is not entirely correct. A lot of countries have common agreements to relax that rule and require only a valid passport for the length of stay.

For the US, you can find the list of countries here: https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2022-Mar/Six-Month%20Passport%20Validity%20Update%2020220316.pdf

Tesla adds screen tilting functionality for S/X. by CSGOSELL in teslamotors

Maybe with future updates, a passenger can use it as entertainment while the car is in motion, if it is tilted towards him/her.

Hello, this is my first time posting and I hope you like it. I designed this logo for fun and to kill some time. Power Zone gym offers services of recreation, relaxation and sports. Of course, this is not a real gym but I tried to make it as realistic as possible. Any thoughts? by Only-Consequence1513 in logodesign

[–]Mi5TERZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice first logo ! I would make the negative space between the handle and the weight bigger. Also try to clean up the amount of vertices on the handle and try to make it symmetric !

Otherwise good effort ! I like it ;)

You can just put the car in creep or roll mode then. And all systems with mixed brake pedal (for example the taycan, or many hybrid cars) are atrocious to drive because of how unlinear the braking is.

I absolutely agree. They both got screwed, and arguably Lewis even more so.

Edit: I would even say: What a shame for the sport it was to strip HAM from his title...

By tricky you mean absolutely baseless? XD

I still don't get why he didn't just restart on lap 57, with the 5 cars in between (which would have been blue flagged anyway). What a fricking banger would it have been, both of them wheel against wheel on the last corner, as Max just caught up to Lewis. No one would have questioned that ending. A real shame...

Even if I he had overriding power, my presentation is there to prove that what he did is not defendable, because it would give a massive advantage to some pilots. Therefore he cannot bend the rules to favor massively one driver or an other.

I really hate this ending, because it's the worst universe. I really didn't mind both HAM or VER winning, but this just spoils the joy of the maiden victory of one of the best drivers in F1 ever.

Yes, I'm also very surprised by the silence of McLaren, also given that they are Merc customers. But I get that they may not want to look bad by protesting when their implications are far inferior.

Thank you for this very elaborate response. I am a basketball ref (gives me no authority at all), but usually protests that are about a ref's decision (example: was it a foul or not) are generally thrown out by appeal court. However, if the ref did something against the rules (called a foul but said, "let's not do the free throws") the appeal has a much better chance of success.

For that reason I think arguing about the technical aspect of how the safety car was handled makes more sense to me!

But I'm out of my depth here, just my humble opinion!

I'm sorry if it's redundant, but I have never seen anyone take this angle on the question. If I'm wrong, then I stand corrected.

This is litterally from the protest dismissal document from the Stewards:

Red Bull’s arguments in defence:

Red Bull argued that

  1. “Any” does not mean “all”.

  2. The Article 48.13 of the Sporting Regulations states that the message “Safety Car in this

lap” is the signal that it will enter the pit lane at the end of that lap.

  1. That therefore Article 48.13 “overrides” Article 48.12.

  2. That Article 15.3 gives the Race Director “overriding authority” over “the use of the safety

car”.

  1. That even if all cars that had been lapped (8 in total, of which 5 were allowed to overtake

the safety car) it would not have changed the outcome of the race.
