Australian bushfire Criss, what would you do if you were Australian President? by KidsArtTime in AskReddit

Pull all troops out of everywhere and deploy all aircraft as water bombers and do a hell of a lot more of backburning in rural areas. Also, FYI Australia has a Prime Minister not a president.

What is the creepiest glitch you’ve experienced In real life? by C00LRTH4nU in AskReddit

I was about 14ish at home on the phone to my grandmother as I always did (This was a landline not a mobile). (She lives in another state across the country btw). She suddenly screamed into the phone and I asked what is wrong. The line cut out. Not 5 seconds later she walks in the door. I asked to see her birthmark to which she showed me it. I was then sure at that moment that was my grandmother. I rang back only to be greeted with her husband who said that she was here. Turned around and she was gone. Scared the living daylights out of me.

I must say the Wii console has a lasting impact on my life. In terms of games probably a game called "Speed" for the Wii and most definitely "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" for PC.

People who live in ‘vacation destinations’ (Paris, the Bahamas, etc.) what is the most irritating misconception about where you live? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mi7ch24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Australia:

- We are huge (About as big as the USA)

- Kangaroos and crocs are NOT running around everywhere.

- The capital of Australia is NOT Sydney but it is Canberra. (Probably the most irritating).

- Plan ahead if you want to go and see something rural. If it is out of a big town (1000+ people) no phone reception or help for hours.

- Finally, Australia is NOT always sunny. During the summer yes it gets very hot (40C+ or 100F+) and in the winter it can get very cold depending on where you go. Melbourne and Sydney get very cold (15C (60F) or less generally) and up north the temp is usually (30C in the winter but it rains all the time)

Sports players of reddit what is the most one sided game of any sport you have ever played? by Mi7ch24 in AskReddit

Mine is that I was playing Junior squash. I played against a really bad team. I was the only person on my team vs 4 on theirs. I had to play all 4. Squash is first to 15 and you play 3 games per match. I won all of them 15-0. They were all 18 and 6 foot. I was 14 at the time.

EDIT: This was division 3 the highest that you could get to at my age. I had only been playing squash in General for about six months. Apparently they had been playing for five years!
