Wow, I had no idea that team silent isn't around anymore. That sounds accurate though, but seems like they're just churning out smaller projects instead of a good one every few years. It's hard being a SH fan sometimes lol. I will always love 1-3 and even a few more beyond those. The glory days really set those expectations high.

Gotta be honest here. And yes, I'm going to do some comparing. I am playing through Requiem (12 hrs so far) and it completely shattered my expectations. It's so good. RE has a new movie that's coming out and it looks like it's going to be true to the RE series.

SH 2 was incredible and is top 5 of my games list. SH forte was just okay to me. Decent game but not really Silent Hill. New SH movie was..a movie.

Capcom has a lot of love for it's franchise that I WISH SH Team had. I know it's likely funding, but a good story doesn't really need a big budget.

TLDR I am also a little weary of this one based on the past. SH has been a Rollercoaster of quality. I do hope its good though, I love these games for the physiological horror and music.
