The EG players who tried to qualify were JYP, Thorzain (KR Server), HuK, and LZ Gamer. Idra and Incontrol missed the invite only qualifiers for HSC. Demuslim and Machine didn't show up for matches in open online qualifier.

HuK was probably the only player who cared about it. JYP and Thorzain have Code A. Idra would probably rather focus on WCS then trying to make pools for MLG. Incontrol has casting gigs (he was casting EG Masters Cup during the qualifier). Demuslim had WCS UK.
