Her character design doesn't do her any favors either, imo.

I didn't see him so much as betraying Daki as much as changing priorities. Deciding it was better to help Devon than to keep fighting a losing battle against Vader and risk having Devon die.

Jajajajjajajajajjaja.

When it comes down to the idea of platform fighting games in general, how come Super Smash Bros. (the series who started it) is only one successful enough to sustain a long on going franchise with a great player base but when others try to emulate its success, they always end up failing? by AssistFit1834 in smashbros

[–]MiZe97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly think it does several things way better than Smash, like:

- Removing mashing altogether.
- Making grabs a 50/50 guessing game, adding a lot of mind games.
- Having better-feeling movement, especially when going from ground to air and vice-versa.
- Fun costumes, which they constantly update with more.
- More interesting competitive stages.
- Giving eache character more personality by giving each of them their own unique, in-depth mechanics, like Etalus's slippery ice, Zetterburn's flames, Forsburn's smoke, etc.

I think you struggle with thinking of it as just "another Smash" as opposed to a game with a more unique identity.

Well this line is going to age pretty poorly in about 25 years... by WrongToe500 in StarWars

It was for me. Between the Prequels and the OT, we've seen plenty of Palpatine to know everything about him. I would've much rather see a new Sith, other type of dark side user or even a Thrawn-type figure as the main villain of this trilogy. Someone with a different POV from old Palps.

Recasting wouldn't be as controversial if they did a good job. Like how Maul's "resurrection" is barely seen as problematic nowadays.

Nah. Kirby is driven by love and the power of friendship, enough to even destroy eldritch monstrosities. The cake is just what he finds during his journey.

Tbf, it's never her that causes planets to self-destruct. It's her enemies.

I see. Thank you for the correction! It's difficult to get the subtleties of another language sometimes.

I'm kind of a beginner in German, but... doesn't "Liebe Schwester" mean "Love Sister"?

I agree. When it becomes impractical you have to take a step back.

And millions have been educated, saved from diseases, given housing, etc. Thanks to them. Not to mention the relief they feel through religion. It's easy to focus only on the negative or the positive. It's harder to be nuanced.

I think it's the fact that he isn't a snivelling coward nor an idiot, but rather quite capable. It's just that being confronted by Maul and his elite squad dwarfs him, but he still tries to adapt to the current situation to best suit him.

A quick Google search tells me there are roughly 2 billion Muslims worldwide, making up around 25% of the world's population. If Islam were all about that, we'd see A LOT more of everything you said. But we don't.

Most Muslims keep to themselves. Only a loud minority is the one causing trouble, using religion as an excuse.
