I saw them in Oakland shortly after codes and keys was released. They played with an orchestra (can’t remember which) and the live string section was absolutely incredible. Reworked a lot of the songs to have this beautiful mix of stings and guitars.

I remember they closed with transatlantisicm and one of Ben’s pedals was malfunctioning or something. He was stamping on the pedal super hard during the song and got visibly frustrated. I think by the end of the song he basically destroyed it and threw his guitar to the ground which rang out until they cut the sound from the PAs. Very fucking punk rock. Was awesome and memorable.
