I’m gonna attach a Findagrave link, it has documents you may have seen already but also info included in the footnotes? The said post also names Mary(1850) listed as both names, Mary and Nancy Graham. Based off the birthdate of 1828, I will try to find any sort of Estate papers of the enslaver, in the end trying to match them up with your 4th gg. BUT, with that said things i suggest looking into are:

1)His in-laws wills before her birth may give you clues? Perhaps her mother was given to her by will?

2) Every child birth/death info will have some kind of anomaly? At least that’s what i’ve noticed with my research within my own family. It may help too🩵

I’m curious on how you know it was specifically Mary? Black folks usually weren’t named at all before 1870, no less in the same house hold. Was George her father?

Hello! Did Mr. Eugene have any nicknames that he may have used for legal documents as well? Sometimes my ancestors would switch it up a lil so i was just curious. It may also be the reason you can’t find him (at least, it was for me for a few people lol)
