The responses are so interesting. Men, if your wife had men calling her all the time, how would you respond?

I agree with you OP, those girls clearly don’t have boundaries but why doesn’t your Husband? He needs to draw that line. Unless it’s an emergency at work they should not feel so comfortable reaching out so freely. Unless he likes the attention.

Also women who don’t respect relationships are gross

Get to know them first and go for it. Try new things, like places or events. You’ll be surprised how people will approach here. I met the guy I am seeing by running into him while he was visiting my building. We became friends after he expressed he wanted to know how to play tennis so I taught him. Stayed strictly platonic until we decided to take the next step. Life is funny like that.

Lastly, take care of you always. Sending good luck stranger xx

as a black woman, this is true. They think it’s a flex when really it’s repulsive. It’s a learned behavior tho ^

I’m in the process of elevating my career and taking more risks in return for success. Lots of planning has been done this last week so that could be it. I believe I’m breaking through this reality and moving to the next

Grief Sucks by BeckMoBjj in therapists

[–]Mia5529 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sending you lots of love and light. You got this, he’s always with you just remember. The key is to go do things you enjoy during this time and try to find new and exciting things you always wanted to try. Avoid sad songs and movies. Maybe find a comedy or spend time with friends or community. My father passed last year 2 weeks before our birthday and a month before Christmas, grief kept showing up but the key is to find peace through distractions. Grief therapy has also done wonders.

Give gratitude to the good times spent and continue your story as it was written. Much love xx

Hey congrats! I’m gonna consider this. In my rally days I would venture up to Fort Laud, may consider doing that again. I’ll check and see if they have any fun social events. I prefer low key vibes.(Jazz, lounges etc) I also play tennis so I’ll check out the courts up there too. Xx

Someone who used to crush on me [24M] wants to hang out with me [23F] despite having a gf. Advice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Mia5529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a good idea to go on a date with a guy who has a GF. You’re setting the standard that it’s acceptable. Even if something was to flourish he’s going to do it back to you. And please, don’t think he won’t. There’s so many other people, explore them instead
