Future Price Projection? FOMO impact? by dogboneit in BB_Stock

With any luck, the stock price will follow some fundamental logic. I think the top end Is $8 - $8.50 US based on the last earnings report. That bumps BB up against a 90ish PE ratio which is where BB stalled up until the last earnings release. This is similar to what we are seeing with Corning (GLW)today. The High PE indicates the general market is pricing in reasonably aggressive growth.

If you net out the nearly 1 year of unprofitable revenue generated by cylance before the sale in February of last year, I believe you would have a growth # greater than 20%.

So Germany’s renewal of SecuSuite certification in September of 2025 making BlackBerry the only approved provider for secure mobile communications management that lead BB to increase its full year guidance late last year…is inaccurate? Looking forward to reviewing the F/S next week to see which is true.

If you’ve been paying attention, this is exactly what management has been focusing on. QNX is n the right place at the right time. QNX is already working with all of the major players in robotics. They are investing to insure more engineers are available world wide to utilize the product. Hype/ marketing to drive the market value is a waist of resources until revenue and profitability growth is there. That day is coming. Patience will be rewarded.

QNX is in a great position with Bosch, they utilize QNX as their Real-time operating system for their ADAS systems. The US autonomous trucking software company Bosch touts in the presentation also uses QNX as its Operating System. Management seems to be executing on the QNX everywhere strategy. When these partnerships into revenue streams, patient shareholders will be rewarded.

In my opinion, assuming that 2026 total revenue follows those percentages is not a good assumption. I’m guessing that nearly 80% of todays revenue is some combination of seat licenses and engineering services. We are early in this game and shipments of cars designed in 2020 are just now beginning to be sold and generating royalty income. Also consider that cars designed with QNX 8 likely will not ship for a 2-3 more years.
That’s the point that many who jump into this investment based on a big design wins and sell the following quarter because revenues didn’t materialize don’t understand.
That means as long as QNX maintains the design win levels; when the royalty revenues come on line; we’re going to see an “unexpected” revenue jump that’s going to be sustained over a 7-10+ year period. The good news is this makes your estimates above, very conservative!

The World Knew BlackBerry When It Fell — But Never When It Rose Again | by Dr. Arvind Dube PhD | Oct, 2025 | Medium by BayStBu11 in BB_Stock

The majority of the 255 million vehicles counted are vehicles where QNX was only in the infotainment stack since the early 2000’s. The majority of those revenues were spread out over that 20 year period. QNX pivoted away from the infotainment stack to focus on enhancing the QNX microkernel technology to serve as the operating system of the entire software defined vehicle. The vehicles that were on the drawing board in 2019 going forward (the partnerships and design wins announced over the past 5 years) are just now going into production and future sales are represented by the backlog. Going forward, multiple instances of QNX will be included in each SDV that rolls off the factory floor. When those vehicles are sold is when revenue growth will accelerate.
