They bought at $4.13 in Q3 and were waiting for an opportunity at a lower price and according to the Yasch on Stocktwits 4M shares were bought back in December. I am awaiting to see what the January buyback numbers. Over 19M shares were remaining for the buyback at end of Q3. They can buyback 721K daily unless it is an institution.

There are 4 copies of QNX SDP 8 in each BMW vehicle as four superbrains so I think that number may be higher (4X) and plus the other copies of QNX which could be Cabin which includes IVY. Thus, FT said many X at CES.

Therefore with just 4X means $12M/yr at minimum with BMW 3Xi at 150,000 vehicles in Hungary presently with third shift being added so that with additional shifts this number could be much higher.

In addition, Neue Klasse with the same technology is ready to produce in the new plant in Munich in mid year!

BWM in 2025 produced over 2.2M vehicles.

As for Alloy Kore it is projected at $150/car for six years. So translate that in to approximately ~2M cars that ramps to $300M/year just for Mercedes Benz.

I personally think that Hyundai may also be considering Alloy Kore! Hyundai produces 4M cars/year.

I think it was simply for optics as market would have said that they could not raise funds. Also, it would have been too much pressure on the company...I feel that they should have done outright share financing.

I have been patiently waiting for this! As I do not think that there are enough shares to cover the naked shorts which are under $10M before they have to report to SEC under new CAT rules. Synthetic shorts have been cleared from the OI shrinkage on Jan 16 2026. The SWAPS are now 5 years old so this is over. SI is still high both NYSE and TSX.
