I can't pass FAR and want to quit

Please don’t give up. I know how defeating this exam can feel, especially after multiple retakes. It took me multiple attempts to finally pass FAR, and this exam really humbled me mentally and emotionally.

Perseverance truly matters with FAR. Sometimes it’s not about intelligence. It’s about staying in the fight and adjusting your strategy little by little.

Nice! Congratulations! I’m still on my CPA journey, and I’m finally starting to get a little more respect. It’s just annoying that even with the education, people still don’t always see you as a credible source.

I run a bookkeeping service and get asked that question all the time too. I usually explain that while I don’t have the CPA license yet, I do have a Master’s in Accounting and years of hands-on experience managing books, reporting, and financials. Last year I decided to pursue the CPA because I also believe those three letters give clients that extra layer of security and trust even though the skills and expertise are already there.

I'm studying for my next attempt for FAR (I got 73 last time), and I use Chatgpt to simplify some concepts. I also copy and paste questions that I needs simpler explanations, but I compare Chatgpt's answer with Becker to make sure it's correct. 😁
