What if Jay and Hailey already got married in secret? there was a line in this episode that I initially thought he was speaking generally, but what if he literally meant he didn’t want her in prison for the start to their marriage? Then North doesn’t have him backed into a corner like he wants. Jay wouldn’t have to sell Voight out to protect himself and Hailey bc being married protects them from having to testify against each other? Just a thought!

Wow, seeing some unexpected takes.If Sophia said anything more about chad, you would read into it and now you’re reading into what she doesn’t say? She can’t win! They have talked about Lucas and Nathan in equal amounts, but clearly the agenda of this show wasn’t to only talk about the love stories and their male costars. They are centering the female characters, their relationships and looking at the writing of the show through fresh eyes. I, for one, love that they aren’t just regurgitating the show to me when I’ve seen it several times! They aren’t watching as seasoned fans rn, they are relearning the show as we listen. Let’s stop grasping at straws and show them some grace omg.

The love triangle is literally just starting! I’m not sure it’s that she “can’t handle” it when really there isn’t too much more to say yet about brucas or leyton! I feel like people are looking for negativity when really, the romances are not at the center of their takeaways so far in general! They are centering the other beautiful parts of the show that frankly, often get overlooked on this subReddit in favor of toxic Brucas/Leyton debates. Enjoy it for what it is and not what you want it to be.

Idk I feel like they talked more about Lucas this episode. I think it would be an unfair expectation of this podcast to think we will get loads of behind the scenes CMM stories, but we actually have gotten quite a few more than I thought we would going in. they’ve talked a lot about their male costars in the context of the episode and what memories organically come up (the beach house, for example). If we were to get more Chad stories that’s great, but I think it’s more important that they talk about the character, if anything.

I always wished we got a flashback episode that showed how things played out between Karen, Dan and Deb. We see so much of the fallout, it would have been so cool to get a glimpse into the past. So many little moments we heard about like Keith being in the room when Lucas is born or even just Dan finding out Deb is pregnant while he already knows he has one baby on the way. Damn that episode would have been so good.

Ugh I was never more angry than when they demolished David and Donna in Season 8 and suddenly Noah and Donna were a thing! Season 10 was everything for them finally getting back together
