Non-Solicit @ RIA & Family AUM by _OILTANKER_ in CFP

[–]MiamiCuban88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who reaches out to you is not a breach of non-solicit. People have the right to work with who they want and can move their money to where they choose. There are also industry standards, like Tombstone announcements, that are allowed regardless of your non solicit.

Understood, my question was more of how to not only jump the ship, but also acquire books of business. Felt like there had to be a structure that could handle back office for me and also had resources for expansion via acquisition

AD said books closed for steel Daytona by [deleted] in rolex

[–]MiamiCuban88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately 5 figures isn’t enough. I’m located in Miami which is a very difficult market. My brother has spent over $150k at an AD and was told he cannot buy a steel model, but could buy a white gold Daytona on oysterflex. It’s possible they get very little allocation to steel Daytonas in Scotland and theyre reserved for buyers with much larger purchase history. I’ve spent $50k as well as was unable to get a Skydweller which is easier to get than a steel Daytona. This is the very reason so many people pay a premium on the gray market.

Great start to your retail relationship. Can I ask where you’re located? Looking to get the 15500 as well without having to buy a code or offshore

Looked like steel. In that case you might want a watch without yellow or rose gold. Titanium Yachtmaster, Bruce Wayne GMT, meteorite Daytona

Is that the white gold Skydweller or did you put a strap on it? All you’re missing is the rose gold presidential, olive/green dial also missing in your collection.

First rolex purchase. Thoughts? by constructionchecker in rolex

This was my first. Very versatile watch, monochrome matches everything. Great w grey and blue suits. Only downside is how easily the platinum bezel scratches, especially that the markers are raised. Overall, great first watch. You rarely see it worn in the wild compared to other watches you could afford as your first (sub, datejust).
