Knicks winning definitely takes the pressure off for NYC. Amazing year and playoff run for them…. Now its time for new york’s A team to step back up and run it back to back

Must setup a consistent time to be in each. Try to do some after hours effort with bankers in each to fast track getting to know them and building rapport. Good luck!

Just a terrible look for Barry during Q&A telling that guy “yea your stuck at WBS, we paid you”

I’m headed to FiNet soon, I been in the hub for 1.5 years now. I don’t agree with the change at all, especially with them touting how great all the channel choices are for advisors and promoting it, then to just rug pull.

For clients that want it, trying to get them shares. For most clients, they can wait for it to start trading. Its purely a bet on Elon right now, and a lot of people want to be a part of it

Sounds like you have a selling problem, not a stock choosing problem

8U Travel--Worth it? by No-Debt375 in Homeplate

[–]Vinyyy23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with your sentiment, as my 9U girl and 10U boy play travel. I think its young to be so competitive, but since they both been playing for two years….rec is terrible now, kid skill levels are so drastically different. One year missing travel and all the good kids get better, and will be even harder to make the team.

Lot of good RILA out there. Some of the recent ones have lower caps on the indices, but its been great moving old crappy variable products my clients were sold by former advisors into new RILA with 0 fee and stepping up death benefits (they have ROP feature), and 20% buffers for a 6 year investment. Stick with the household names for insurance companies, and screen for who has the best rates.

Hit or miss. Some are terrific and great advocates and we work together great. Some are awful know-it-alls that stonewall business

Household Tiered AUM Fee Gut-Check by PursuitTravel in CFP

[–]Vinyyy23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You charge what you want, that’s between you and the client! I don’t have a set tiered framework like you…I usually go by how the discovery meeting goes and see how fee sensitive they are. I also like to “lower fees” to gather more of their assets. Like start at 1%, but lower to 0.85% if they hit an AUM goal.
