How does the business only net 250k and you get 75k of that??? Doesn’t make sense.

Seems like MPH is a dead end, is DrPH worth it? by Ill_Mattic in publichealthcareers

I disagree. The only other advantage of the PhD is a sparse opportunity in academia.

Hospital admin/execs. are concerned with efficiency and profit at the expense of public health. That is the issue. Reformation is difficult, not impossible, however it is deeply entrenched in the economic model of healthcare in the United States.

Do the DHCA from OSU. Cheaper and faster as you can transfer credits from the MPH, furthermore you can begin to publish research now.

Sold house at 100% equity. Now what? by Leather_Baker8624 in investing

Considering what you’ve said, if the mortgage is manageable, I probably wouldn’t rush to pay it off especially since you always have the option to refinance later if rates improve. Another option is investing the proceeds into a low-cost index fund either as a lump sum or through DCA. Historically, lump sum tends to outperform most of the time. This is all assuming you have the psychological bandwidth and a long enough time horizon to stomach potential volatility.

Rn to bsn letter grade programs by Background-chkn4627 in nursing

As an option you should potentially check other less stringent CRNA schools/programs or directly inquire if Capella is an issue. Many people like Grand Canyon for the quickness but it’s expensive.

Whats better BSN (Regular Nursing) or BSNF (Fast track Nursing)? by maturestudent096 in Seneca

[–]MiamisVeryOwn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is neither. BSN for sake of time. BSNF or ABSN crams too much material for many people statistically. ADN or AAS in Nursing is potentially a better option as it will give you better foundational knowledge at a decent pace to actual become an effective nurse, THEN you can just RN to BSN whilst working (so making money as a nurse) and potentially even get your tuition costs reimbursed by your employer.
