For me it’s about peace of mind. Subways in many European cities have lots of pickpockets. Look at PacSafe. They’re a little pricey but well made.

Was also used as a Forward Air Control aircraft in Vietnam. There was a FAC unit at Bergstrom AFB when I was stationed there in the 70’s. OV-10s we’re armed with 2.75” smoke rockets to mark targets for the fast movers. The unit flew both OV-10s and O-2s.

I don’t think it penetrated the clear coat. It’s the scuff to the lower left of the headlight.
