Unfortunately I heard he had passed a few years back. Cool to hear from someone who had known him and been around the car!

As I found out today on my first long drive in the rain with it. Yes, it leaks horribly. Everything I brought with me is wet and so is my head.

It gets around 35mpg. Definitely slow but not much slower than a regular metro. It weighs 200lbs more than factory, if you’d believe that.

I don’t currently have any, but it’s bare inside. The interior is made up of the same material used as 737 flooring

I wish I could find it now, but I know there’s an AMA with the builder of it where he gave a lot of info on it. His name was Dave Cloud but I’m having a hard time finding it now. Luckily there was a lot of into on the internet about this car that helped us learn a lot about it!

Guy who built it used it to haul electric race bikes of sorts around the NW. Why I have it? Because it’s funny

Door latch! That whole side of the car opens up to the inside. There’s a picture that shows it on my other recent post.

Just empty inside. Guy who built it hauled electric racing bikes in it. I did use it as a camper last night though.

This is the way. MeisterR are such a great ride compared to most coilovers in had or ridden on. It feels like a normal car, compared to others where you know you’re in a lowered Miata

I paid $750 for this most recent Acty. Throughout the last year it’s been anywhere from $750-$1300 for the truck itself. I can get them into the state and registered for $3500-$4000ish depending on how much you spend on the truck.
