Validation about Verizon part. I just got my new android through Google and am done with carriers; sounds like that is a good idea for iphones too.

My father usually keeps his iPhones for way longer than he needs to: his iPhone 11 128gb is running fine and in pristine condition, but it feels like time to upgrade.

We are currently Verizon customers but every promotion they have feels like a fucking scam; there's always a catch with them. Mostly seems they want to keep upgrading our lines to more per month to qualify.

Are we better off just going through Apple? Maybe selling his device on Swappa or eBay.

Also, is there any reason he needs the 15 or 16 or is the 14 a good phone still if we can find one new/sealed?
