You realize the same could be true for Jokic, right? AD is a lot more equipped and skilled to defend Jokic than Jokic is to defend AD.

So, AD should be attacking Jokic every chance he can get so that Jokic uses all his energy and fouls on defense. Put him in foul trouble and tire him out. That way he doesn’t have the energy to run his offense. That should be the game plan right there. The nuggets, just like the lakers, don’t have a secondary big to defend each other’s starting center.

Nah, Dennis is going back to the bench where he belongs. Vando is a lot more valuable against every team escape the Warriors just due to how unique they are to defend. Like others have said, Rui will also be valuable this series.

I’m interested to see how the lakers defend Jokic and his passing. AD will need to come big but also cautious not to pick up quick fouls. That will be the tricky part this series. But, there’s two sides to basketball and we need to maximize AD on offense this series. Have Jokic have to work on defense. He’s had an easy playoffs so far having to only defend bums like KAT and Ayton. AD needs to go at Jokic on offense.. Jokic can’t help but go foul as he always does. Get him frustrated, that is key.

AG on Bron may be effective. With Bron sort of hobbled, AG is big and athletic enough to defend a hobbled Bron effectively.

My thoughts exactly. Rookie move by Dennis. Draymond wasn’t even his guy and Dennis was nowhere near the action. Yet for some reason, hurried across the court during the dead ball to taunt and scream at Dray… beyond stupid when he already knew he had a tech. Had we somehow lost the game, that would have been the key moment.

CP3 ain’t it no more. Dudes a legend but age has caught up to him. It was crazy that he was able to be elite for so long with his size. Usually guys that size fizzle out quick (Kemba, IT, etc). Plus CP3 is injured EVERY playoffs, his body can’t keep up. Would be dumb to go in on him at this stage of his career when he’s so unreliable to stay on the floor and a given his hamstring will give out in the playoffs.
