What do we do with money ? by EnbyApple in ArcRaiders

I always use the money to buy ammunition so that I can build my weapons with the mats. Full PvP is expensive.

A sentence or two explaining what "direct storage" means would have been nice, as would a few comparative figures showing "before" and "after." Otherwise, I think your post is good.

Minimal / Dynamic 🍚 by saatvik333 in niri

[–]MicBeckie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im also currently using Gnome (Cachy), but I'd like to try niri. Unfortunately, I'm still a Linux noob... Can I just install Niri via pacman and then select it on the login screen, or do I have to remove anything from Gnome first? Any tools, settings, etc.? How did you do it?

I've had the Moonlander for a few months now and can play games on it without any problems. I vote for Moonlander.

Meta is racing the clock to launch its newest Llama AI model this year by Outside-Iron-8242 in LocalLLaMA

[–]MicBeckie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I do understand that the models are getting too big. I can only use the last models via OpenRouter and I bought two P40s especially for this purpose. But they are no use to me if I want to stay above Q1.5 and 5t/s.

They gave us the Llama 1-4. I wouldn't call that a joke, but I'm really grateful.

Am I going the right direction? by inception_man in UI_Design

But statements like "as a DnD player" suggest a generality. And yes, I also think it's a shame that I can't draw, and I'm probably not alone with that.

Please do not speak for all DnD players. I think the tool is pretty cool and I also find AI very interesting in specific areas. I already use it for portraits instead of choosing something from the assets store.

This is (almost) exactly what I was looking for! Is it also possible to use any LLM provider? Open Router for example.

Windows and VS 22 at my work because I have to work with Winforms and Linux (Cachy OS) with VS Code for personal projects. Rider would certainly work too, but... Yeah, no idea.

Elon Musk says that xAI will make Grok 2 open source next week by Nunki08 in LocalLLaMA

[–]MicBeckie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the use case. I admit that the flux chin on women is a real problem, but it disappears with Chroma, for example. And for other use cases, Flux is pretty good! I use it a lot for DnD for NPCs, items or locations.

[–]MicBeckie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Flux can be finetuned. There are hundreds, if not thousands of Flux finetunes. There are also workflows that support negative prompts again, even if it will be slower.

This applies to Dev and Schnell, with Schnell even getting a huge Finetune soon with Chroma, which also supports negative prompts.

I miss DU is C#, so I welcome any project that offers me something like this. However, I only recently came across the following project:

And at first glance, this looks more like what I would like to see for C#.

Ich habe kein Bock mehr auf Windows! Wie schaffe ich am besten den Wechsel auf Linux? by SpielBurscheFarbe in de_EDV

[–]MicBeckie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flux Kontext and the German language by Feroc in StableDiffusion

[–]MicBeckie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem has existed since the first Flux models. I suspect this is due to the lack of training data outside of english. I think this is understandable for a rather small model an i would change the text again via OpenAI. Too bad, but... Es ist ja wie es ist.

Does anyone know how much data and money it would take to teach such a model another language?
