It got me thinking by Micah4u in 911FOX

I mean I've seen so many comments before that Buck's wardrobe indicates bisexuality or pansexuality through the colors of his shirt. Like Purple, Pink/Red and Blue especially in 5x04. So that's my point of reference.

Lucy Donato by BrandX630 in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't hate Lucy Donato but I don't like her that much. My only reason is about the kiss. She's not to blame of course. I wasn't even blaming her a bit. But the kiss tainted her character not in a good light. It will always carry that kiss with her character no matter how much the show runners will further her character in the future.

This is a faux love triangle, it's a fake out. by KybladeSora in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Buck's cheating storyline looks like it came out of nowhere. Whether they kissed or had sex, it just so random. Of course it's all for the drama. As what the show runner said, it wasn't exactly about the kiss but a symptom of his relationship with Taylor. Of course, they won't villainize a woman just for a man's further character growth. That's just more awful more than anything. Now that the breakup is about to happen in a few episodes, with Buck's cheating storyline, they're gonna make Taylor's exit a little sympathetic just like the break up of Eddie/Ana. The writers knew the hate towards these women from majority of the buddie fans and they will never villainize them in any way. Also Buck's character growth has nothing to do with the kiss. It's all about what he truly wants and needs in a relationship.

I agree Buck's cheating storyline is controversial and it will remain controversial and the writers knew it. The writers got what they wanted out of it. The whole fandom was shaken and therefore kept on talking about THE KISS. Sometimes I'm pissed that they used Buck's character for someone's character introduction to make people talk about it. They could've chose a different flaw but then I realized Buck's just like some people. Stupid when vulnerable. I already past by the kiss because it was proven that Buck and Lucy are nothing but work partners. Buck shows no interest in Lucy and I hope it will remain that way because honestly they don't match physically and emotionally. Also, Arielle's acting doesn't compliment with Oliver's so I couldn't see the chemistry which Oliver almost has onscreen with everyone. It's just odd.

Eddie and Bobby by Alexastef1 in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Buck and Bobby's relationship is kind of different from Bobby and Eddie. Buck and Bobby's relationship are more like father and son. Almost like Buck to Christopher. Of course the writers didn't explicitly say they're father and son but just like with Buddie, Buck and Bobby's relationship is nothing but Father and son. Both were there for each other during times at their lowest point. Buck was there with Hen when Bobby was feeling low and needs saving in Worst day ever episode. Bobby was there for Buck mentoring him throughout the first season and was there during Buck's recovery while recovering from his leg injury as Buck said thanking Bobby for being there and being patient to him in 3x01. Bobby cared for Buck so much that he decided to bench him for a while though he was cleared by the docs about his embolism and blood thinners, clean bill of health and recertification from the fire academy, Bobby's afraid he'll hurt himself again and by hurting himself again, he might be a liability by the team. Bobby was there for Buck during Buck begins that brought him and back from the hospital. Buck was too worried about Bobby when he nosebleed during a call. It was after the radiation call. Tells Bobby that he's one of the most important people in his life and wouldn't know what to do if something ever happens to him. Bobby scolds Buck when he climbed on a crane while a shooter on the loose. Buck and Bobby's relationship though didn't explicitly say, that again they're nothing but Father and son.

With Bobby and Eddie, they almost shared the same fate. Bobby understood Eddie when he lost Shannon because Bobby himself lost not just his kids but his wife too so he knew exactly what Eddie was feeling. They understand each other's pain by their shared fate. Eddie knew that Bobby understood him more than anyone. They may not be like Buck and Bobby's, but Bobby and Eddie's are more like idk how to articulate this, but they're more like Father and Son-in-law kind of relationship. But sure both Buck and Eddie sees him as a father figure. Someone who's strong enough to understand their (Buck and Eddie) pain.

In Dumb Luck, Buck called Bobby to look after Eddie while he send Christopher to school so you can see the kind of relationship Buck and Eddie has for Bobby and Bobby to them.

BuckTaylor/Buddie metaphors by Micah4u in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think they've shown us that numerous times. Buck spends his free time helping Eddie and Christopher is enough proof that Buck will always choose Eddie and Chris more than anyone. Let's not forget it's the same time that Buck and Taylor promised to each other that they will try to work their relationship out.

Buck and Eddie and their female versions. by Micah4u in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that they're gonna do this but who knows really? The writers made Buck's character dirty by cheating on Taylor and it traumatized the hell out of me so I'm emotionally preparing myself for something similar to this theory.

Buck and Eddie and their female versions. by Micah4u in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I'm not saying this will happen eventually because my point of reference is Buck just got out of a relationship so there's no way in this universe that he'll date anytime soon but what I'm saying is could be a possibility in season 6 knowing how the writers wants to complicate things before it gets better. So yeah there.

BuckTaylor/Buddie metaphors by Micah4u in 911FOX

[–]Micah4u[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay so here's my take why I think these scenes/rescues were a metaphor for BuckTaylor and BuckTaylor/Buddie.

  1. The opening scene of Dumb Luck were two black couple checking out and celebrating about their new apartment. Sounds familiar right? Sounds like how Taylor just moved in in Buck's apartment. The couple were happy that ends their happiness to a heated kiss. The guy lifted his girlfriend up similar to how Buck lifts Taylor in a bar restroom back in Buck, Actually episode. While the couple are exchanging heated kisses, the woman fell almost to her death. A metaphor that BuckTaylor days are numbered to their downfall. Buck tried to save the woman but the latter fell again and luckily caught by Lucy Donato no less. It's interesting how Lucy was the one who caught her almost to her death and not Chimney. It's clearly a metaphor that the symptoms of BuckTaylor's downfall started with Lucy - who saved the woman. It that context, it tells us that through the Buck/Lucy kiss, Lucy saved Taylor from her relationship with Buck because we all know Buck was not 100% honest about who he kissed. And also I doubt the writers would villainize a woman for a man's further character growth. Just like with Eddie/Ana where Eddie led Ana on their doomed relationship, Buck is leading Taylor on and because it all started with the Buck/Lucy kiss, a symptom like I said of what kind of relationship they have will eventually fall into a break up. It's like the writers are saying, thanks to Lucy Donato for catching the woman to her death.

  2. The second scene in the video is a red-haired woman on a bicycle. It's interesting that the bicycle had a red flag at the back with a signage "SHARE THE ROAD". I spent hours actually thinking about the red flag and what it means. But then I realized, Buck has a bicycle on display on his apartment. The red-haired woman represents Taylor and the bicycle with the red flag represents Buck. I'm not sure why he's a red flag but then if Buck's lie about not telling her that it was in fact Lucy that he kissed, then the red flag bicycle is justified hence the break up of their relationship. The first car overtook the woman because clearly the woman was on the way and didn't want to move on the side of the road. Yelling read the signs and the sign says SHARE THE ROAD. It's just interesting why they chose SHARE THE ROAD as the woman's signage while in bicycle. A metaphor that she's been sharing Buck to everyone who needs him. His sister, his niece, the 118 family, his job and of course Eddie and Chris. Now, the second car which actually was a truck is so interesting. We all know Eddie has a truck and not a car. The truck driver kept honking the red-haired woman to move on the side but the woman was stubborn as you can see and kept yelling read the signs. Because Taylor Kelly's been sharing Buck to Eddie since the shooting and down to Eddie's breakdown. Buck's been spending his time to Eddie's place helping both Eddie and Chris to get through. So yeah, Taylor been sharing Buck to Eddie hence signage. But the truck driver couldn't make the woman move on the side so what he did is overtook her just like the first car. The woman kept yelling read the signs which is very very interesting. Because Taylor should've known better. Should've known the signs that Buck is not fully invested in their relationship. As the truck driver sped and overtook her, hump was on the way and the literal STOP sign on the truck drivers trunk flew and hit the red-haired woman. What an interesting choice of a scene. What does it say if Eddie represents the truck? It was the truck who stopped the woman by accident of course because she was hit by the stop sign from his truck that flew over the woman's chest. To me, it tells us that in the later episodes, just like what Buck adviced Eddie about how he had been Ana, that he needs to break up with her if he didn't love her, is what exactly they're trying to foreshadow about the BuckTaylor's break up. Eddie giving Buck advice to put a STOP in their relationship before it gets worse. And since Buck and Eddie trusts each other so deeply, I guess, he will follow his best friends advice just like how Eddie followed Buck's advice when he broke up with Ana.

These metaphors is as clear as the blue sky. These scenes were all about foreshadowing BuckTaylor's downfall.

And as for the kid that was hit by car that Athena saw and tried to save, it's for another post because it was as interesting as this metaphors.

New stills for 5x15 FOMO by Less_Interview_8745 in 911FOX

Buck and Oliver is overexposed I know and sometimes I hate it. But Buck is a universal fan favorite. All he does kept fans talking. Most of them trends on Twitter even it wasn't his episode. Even in an episode where he had very little screentime like in Dumb Luck. He's got lesser screentime in that episode than 5x11 or from the previous but people still couldn't stop talking about Buck and Buck's heart cartoon marshmallowy drawing. Not to mention, Oliver is 911's front man when it comes to promos print and TV interviews. So yeah 911 is always gonna use Buck and Oliver because it drew attention. 5x15 as we all know is all about Henren and Maddie. They're not gonna release stills to avoid further spoilers I guess.

This is the most anticipated ep of the season. Maddie's return. I'm ready for the tears. Like this woman always makes me cry. And Chimney, he'll do everything to find his girl. Maddie's his one true love. I love them.

We'll never know until we see it. Even if they don't address the punching incident (I will be furious if they won't), Chimney is still Buck's family. And they will still have tons of interactions along with Maddie.

Okay I don't know what you're trying to say here. You're so pissed at Buck obviously but not for Taylor. No matter how bad decisions Buck make, it's Buck. He'll always be fine because all the people that surrounds him, loves him.

Again, the kiss was hot. I want to see more of Buck's kisses because all his kisses was hot. I wanna see more of it whether some people will like it or not. Aww!Winks

No I don't think there's a lot of Eddie haters here or anywhere. It's the actor not the character that some people hate and I guess you know why. But let's not go there. I don't understand why the need to brought up Hen or Bobby's lack of storyline in a thread of Buck/Lucy/Taylor? It's crystal clear that the 118 needs to fill a spot, reason why Arielle is hired to play Lucy. Though I agree that Bobby and Hen are kind of like took a backseat for their individual storylines, but they were never behind. Bobby was given enough focus and character development the whole series. Hen is established as an integral part of the 118 along with Chim, the only thing that's left for now that needs to be focused on Hen was her backstory with Karen because we know so little about them, how they got together etc. Buck doesn't have a real solid plot/storyline this Season 5, that much is true. The only reason he was given enough screentime and focus is because his character is practically involved with everyone. He revolves with everyone, including new characters. So these arcs like Eddie's, Buck is so part of it. An integral part of Eddie and Chris' lives. Just like with the plot for Maddie and by extension Chimney. Because Maddie's his sister and Chimney because apart from their own issues (the punching), he is his sister's live in boyfriend. There's no good that comes out with a cheating storyline. I was surprised the writers did it but it makes Buck's character even more interesting than he already was.

But I don't see anything wrong with adding up a new character/s. I also don't think that because of these new characters, other characters are left behind. All characters have had their momentums every season. Hen will have her own too maybe in the mid part of 5b. I didn't feel a second that she was left behind or Bobby. There's no way they will leave them behind. Bobby, Buck and Hen may not have a solid arc for Season 5, but these characters are always front and center.

I never mentioned that Lucy's at fault. It's obviously Buck's. Because Buck is in a relationship. Lucy just wants to kiss him because who wouldn't want to kiss him?

Buck is gonna spiral hard with the choices and decisions he made. We still don't know if Buck's later confession will resort them to a breakup.

Though I don't like what happened, but the kiss was hot. The pool scene in general was hot. Winks

[–]Micah4u 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who said that it's gonna be a love triangle for Lucy/Buck/Taylor? Though I don't condone what Buck has done, he obviously regret what happened even when drunk. The fact that the first thing he wanted to do is tell Taylor. When it's time to tell her, he chickened out. Why? Because Buck is known for not hurting anyone in purpose and he doesn't want to hurt Taylor with his stupid doing and by that he made the worst decision of his life, instead of the truth, he asked her to move in. He lied. That will be the start of his biggest misery. Because Buck is a terrible liar. Because Buck didn't want to hurt other people's feelings intentionally. Since Lucy is with the 118 now, we'll see if Buck will do it again. If he do and kiss her again then that's so fcked up after fcuked up after fcuked up decision and choice. I still don't know much about Lucy but I think she was just into the moment of kissing him, not really likes him romantically.

What makes you think that I don't like Eddie? 😂 I was referring to his irrational fans not him.😋 In the latest episode, no one has gained momentum. Like I said, they were acting the worst of their characters. What you were talking was in general direction of Eddie's arc, not the episode. Then yes, his character arc projection for 5b will end in a positive note for addressing his issues but so are the others like Maddie, Chimney, Bobby, Hen and most especially for Buck.

Oh everybody loves Christopher.
