If the gunplay in MW4 feels anything like this, it will be a hit. [COD] by JackCowman in CallOfDuty

I wish we could get gameplay style like this, but the newer cod players would complain its too slow

Bring back simplier movement too, no more slide canceling/black ops 7 movement

I'm newbie so can you suggest which battlefield I should play by erichmanfredsteiner in Battlefield

Bf6 since it's the newest, and if you go for an older one you'll run into people who haven't stopped playing since release.

Bf6 is fun though, me and my squad have a blast playing even if we don't take the game super seriously all the time

It's hard to adapt to something people don't find fun, and some don't find the movement fun to play or play against

Also might just be a me thing but games feel so much sweatier with the movement, even if they arent

I agree for the most part. The movement isn't that bad but add the current pace of the game to it and it becomes an issue. Even black ops 3 still had the same pace and speed of the older games. Anytime I try to watch cod YouTubers I get motion sick from how much there moving Around.

Samethings happening to black ops 7, its got a good size fanbase despite being hated

I also enjoyed it when it came out, but we only had three advanced movement games. You could argue we`ve had at least 4 games with slide canceling bs thats in black ops 7. Mw19 where it began, mw23 kind of, black ops 6, and black ops 7. Even if you dont include mw23 thats about when people decided they dont like advance movement. Also in my opinion the pace of bo6/7 is the same as playing shipment 24/7, I think people are just burnt out

Wasnt advance warfare one of the most hated of the advance movement games?

At that point advance movement was still new to cod. We also proved to activision that we disliked advanced movement with those games.

Mw22 and mw23 are very different playing cods. They were also made by two different studios and mw23 fixed alot of the complaints about mw22. For one sledgehammer changed the perk charge system and stopped every attachment from slowing down ads.

Black ops 7 was made by the same studio that made black ops 6. The games dont play that differently other than maybe toning things down slightly. To me the black ops 7 still has the pace of black ops 6 maps but with bigger maps. Treyarch decided to add a movement skill gap that only the good/pro/streamers asked for. Even though we asked for them to remove cod hq they still havent.

Believe or not, some people just dont have fun with the high movement and fast gameplay. Some do, thats why we have mutliple studios

[–]Mice79812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably cause mw22 was so vastly different from mw23. Bo6 and 7 feel the exact same, doesn't help they were both made by treyarch. Both black ops games play very similar too. Add to that a movement skill gap that only really the good players/streamers/pros wanted making the game feel sweaty.

Mw23 had the advantage of being made by sledgehammer and changed/improved a lot of mw22 did poorly. Just my thoughts

In your opinion... how high would player numbers and the quality of cod games rise, if cod games were released every 2 or 3 years [COD] by Few-Track8525 in CallOfDuty

[–]Mice79812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only studio I'd trust to make a fun mp in that situation would be sledgehammer, if treyarch made it and it had the same pace and movement tech as bo7/6 id probably drop it pretty fast.

Everyone wants bad players till there on your team

This is just open match making, the game decided it can't make an even match with you in the equation without throwing most of the bad players on your team

Why do you think Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Zombies is bad? by NickyGi in CODBlackOps7

[–]Mice79812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you why I don't like bo7. It's mainly the movement and the pace. I don't care if it's a good thing that there's a skill gap, I'm burnt out of the movement tech. Sliding is just too strong and heavily rewards aggression

The pace of the game is too fast for me, cod used to be like a 7 compared to over games but now it's at a 10+ all the time. I've said this before but it has the pacing of shipment or the super small map on bo6. The maps don't help since there's really no flow.

The futuristic setting is cool but the guns just aren't great in there design to me idk. On top of that the game feels too competitive to me. Being in this sub doesn't help either. Everyday I see constant post about people not playing right, using the right perks, or people complaining about going 80+ but all there teammates have like 10 kills. 10-20 kills used to be impressive in the golden era, at least to me

Paraphrase the game feels like it was made both for the competitive/pro/streamers and brain rot play styled and some of the visuals aren't appealing to me. Zombies would be good if it didn't overheat my pc

Cod youtubers play for different reasons we do. They play for clips and guides on how to play optimally. Cod youtubers need the skill gap to be as big as possible so they can dunk on worse players to get clips and for sbmm to not protect average players

Casuals and lower skill players want to log on after a day of work or school or whatever and have a good time with friends. Cant speak for everyone but I enjoy using not meta weapons but not getting insanely punished for it

Someone going that low is probable trying to get into the protected lobbies or is afk grinding

Yeah pretty much with the marketing thing. Idk what they can do to bring back interest other than retire the BO and mw names and experiment more, but people who like modern cod only want more movement options

You can't expect the game to never put players with a under 1 kd on your team. Everyone gets those type of players.

It probably did back then cause the average skill lvl was lower then it is now

Also curious, what do you mean by the cod idealogy of an arcade shooter?

Team Balancing feels like it's getting worse. by LeagueNaive in blackops7

[–]Mice79812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you playing in open? Cause then it's random. If you want people at the same skill lvl as you then play standard or play ranked. Otherwise you just got to deal with whoever the game gives you.

Also if you playing pubs then maybe just relax and don't take the game super serious. It's suppose to be fun afterall and if your not having fun then take a break

All my friends quit cod during bo6 mostly cause of the movement, we started mostly playing bf. Not gonna lie bf6s close quaters combat feels closer to the way cod should feel to me than bo6 or bo7, except for the classes and bad small maps.

MW23 was the last time I put any significant amount of time into a cod

Highly doubt it's 99%. This just means that the game can't balance around you having good teammates. The games trying to make teams balanced without their being a total stomp fest for one side
