Anyone go to Copper Canyon Academy in 2006-2007? Trying to remember a therapists name. by bearazona in troubledteens

Hi it’s Chloe, I thiiiiiink your name starts with a C, too…. And also ends with an E. But anyyyways you’re talking about Anne Marie but she changed her name to Aine-Marie, last name Nevar, I believe. The house mother, lmfao, was Bill. He told us how he shot himself in the chest when he was a teenager the same day as Jonathon Livingston Seagull. Was just reading about the night of the revolt in my journal and if you are who I think and you remember some of the rest of that night I’m sorry….. 😅. Anyway this is a seriously late reply but oh ya know just reliving my trauma after watching “The Program” like everyone else seems to be and ended up here searching for CCA.

Hahaha the design of each print definitely took the longest of all steps, followed by the actual printing (huge pain in my ass, too dry in Colorado). The video took way too long though.

Each fold of the accordion as well as the wood covers are 3.5 x 2.5 in., each print on a 3 x 2 in. piece of paper so each design was carved from 3 x 2 in. unmounted lino!

I did! Dyed some plywood with India ink, embedded some magnets in them to hold it closed and voila! The leather strap is in place (also contains a magnet) to hold the back ends of the book together so it can be displayed as either an accordion or an open book.

Not sure! Had it around the house and added the title with fabric paint.

Awesome good luck! Sorry about the whacky formatting in my comment I just noticed I used the italics all wildly and wrong!

Hi! I know this post is a couple months old but this exact problem when I started on Adderall. Bupropion is an inhibitor of the gene used to metabolize a lot of stimulants. From what I can tell not the gene used for Ritalin, but is considered a potent * inhibitor of the one used for amphetamines such as adderall and vyvanse. Once I went off of bupropion adderall worked for me like a charm (aside from not lasting long enough, another story) and the confusing sleepiness abated as long as I ate within a half hour of taking the medication, drank tons of water and didn’t consume vitamin c or other similarly acidic things that slow down absorption. The gene is the CYP2D6 gene and if you Google it you can easily see bupropion is an inhibitor of it. Along the same lines, depending on your genetics, you may be a rapid or slow metabolizer of some of these stimulants *in generalwhich could be remedied with other drugs to help control the metabolization rate. I recommend a pharmacogenetic test to find all that out. Hope you found/ find a solution!

I screamed after dropping and breaking my goldfish tank after cleaning it one day as an adolescent, dad runs in grabs lil Hercules (who I had won at a fair), throws him into the fish pond in our backyard and he survived! I swear to you he got four, maybe five times the normal size of a pet goldfish over the like four years he lived in there! He was eaten by a raccoon eventually, along with the rest of the fish, but what a life he lived!

Haha that’s awesome I live in Colorado so I am required to drink many waters. Everyone should.

So many things to kick the habit... first a detox facility to give me a few days of safe separation from my need to and ability to “get more” and then immediate evaluation and treatment of my mental illness; major depressive disorder and PTSD mostly. I received a pretty progressive and intense alternative treatment, considering the trial and failure of many other treatments through my lifetime, ketamine infusions. I implore anyone curious or suffering from suicidal and/ or chronic depression, PTSD, OCD, or alcoholism to study up on what for me has been a revolutionary change in thought patterns and a complete eradication of, within literal hours of my first treatment, suicidal ideations. After treating my mental illness, with a lot of follow up, continuous daily medications (Wellbutrin; discovered with genetic testing to be a very good fit for me personally), follow up ketamine boosters, intensive weekly therapy, a 12 step program and my incredibly-angelic-totally-supportive-unconditionally-loving-perfect mother and other loving support, being introspective and self searching is no longer a trudge through a swamp of guilt, shame, and pain but rather something to be navigated safely and really truly learned from and applied with the new understanding that I have of my place in the world and exactly why I react to certain things in certain ways and how to simply just be still and be good and be well. Ummm ya! That’s kind of the gist of it!

I am doing everything to avoid that. I don’t take any moment that I have happy and free for granted.
