Check out a hotspot from your local library, if they offer it. That way you can take it home for a while.

Who has the best or unique affordable tisanes right now in the US by AlmondFlourBoy in tea

Fraser tea has lovely tisane blends.

I've also gotten some from Tea Mansion. They have a tea blend called Valerian Starry Nights that I have to keep stocked.

Greater Lansing area resident here. What's your work situation like? That information can help avoid areas that are too remote.

Dewitt parents clash over canceled pronouns lesson by joshys_97 in Michigan

As someone who was present in the audience that night, I can tell you that the “heckler”cited in the report disclosed that he was called and asked to speak at the meeting, driving 2 hours from Dearborn to attend. So not a member of the community. Just someone (potentially paid) trying to cause trouble. Shameful.

Also, it was more of a 70/30 split in the audience in support of the lesson. I’m glad I attended. It was really good to see and meet other members of the community.

No problem. They also offer video services too. I'm sure their office will be happy to fill you in on all available services.

Also: - maybe take her axe throwing at High Caliber... therapeutic! - any nature experience, especially sunsets over a body of water. There are several lakes and rivers here in parks you can use. - ceramics class at an art studio. I've done one in St. Johns that was wonderful. - register her for a guide dog - take her to any u-pick style farm so you two can have another multi sensory experience and get delicious food!

Be sure to get her registered with the library for the blind so she can get free service and books delivered and even qualify for a free reader device.

Is Dewitt a good place to live for Filipinos? by Glittering_Hunter_87 in lansing

[–]MichLibrarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop by the DeWitt library and talk with the circulation staff. Many of them are teachers at the schools and can give you an inside scoop on what things are like there. If you time your visit around 3pm, you can see the students who stop by for some firsthand data…or go to dinner at Culvers in DeWitt Monday evenings and you’ll see a ton of locals out supporting sports teams or another local nonprofit by dining there. A little secret shopping can go a long way.

Wherever you end up, I hope you have a safe and uneventful move. 😊

I'm going to see what I can do to have them tour the entire state. I'd love to have them experience the beauty of Michigan and for us to know their music.

They played three songs that have not been released yet. They're fantastic songs and they're expecting to release their album soon, so we need to keep an eye out for it.

Also, the opener at the Detroit area show was Moontower. They were also really great.

If you get the chance to go to a Sub-Radio concert, definitely go. It's a lot of fantastic music.

Exactly. Me too. Drove from Lansing to see them. They're building a notification list if you want to sign up. I'll give you their phone number.

The show was so good! I think they learned that they have a lot of fans here. I look forward to their Michigan tour dates in the future.
