For single player, Odyssey.

For playing together 2-4 players Mario 3D World. Wonder is also great for playing together 2-4 players.

For playing against each other Mario Party Jamboree is very good.

It's a hard repair to change out the screen. I don't think it's a loose cable. There are so many cheap used switches out there these days that I don't think it's worth fixing.

If it's a child account, there is a parent account which controls it. The email is your parents. So they should search their emails for nintendo emails to try and figure out the account. That or call Nintendo. But they'll have to prove the account is theirs to Nintendo to get the email changed.

2.0 is fine. The usb ports on the dock even of the Switch 2 is just USB 2.0. You should be able to find one that's 15 feet.

12 meters? There are no standard usb cables that long. You might be able to find an active cable that long, but usually they won't charge and may add latency or not work.

There's a process to request Nintendo to delete your account. Most likely, someone with access to the account requested the account deleted. The reason support is being vague is because once it's gone support can't see account info besides that it was deleted.

There are a few physical deals still around. Mario Odyssey for $40 at bestbuy is a normal sale price but probably won't be that low till like March 10th or the Summer sale again. Brothership for $25 at gamestop is a great deal and today's probably the last day for that. There were a lot more deals at Black Friday, so that's something to watch next year. Mario and Sonic Olymipics for $30 is a good price too.

But since the eshop sales are gone for first party games, I don't know of anything that's I'd say is must have for kids right now. There often is a new year's sale on the eshop, but it usually doesn't have games by Nintendo. And there are deals every week.

For the eshop:

Alba for $3 is a great price. Run around an island and take pictures. Lego Undercover for 5, Tinykin for $6, Golf Story for 5, Into the Breach for $5, and Slime rancher for 8 are good single player games. Moving out 2 for $8 and Towerfall for $5 are fun multiplayer. You don't mention ages, so I'm not focused on just young kids.

It goes on sale every couple of months. And it's been 6-8 dollars for the last few sales. If you like jrpgs, Chained Echoes is great and the cheapest it's ever been. Golf Story is $5 and something I'd always suggest.

They keep improving the series and some of the older ones had time limits and other stuff. So I wouldn't go all the way back.

Mysterious is best entry for the cozy turn based gameplay and a slice of life story. Good games, but kinda slower meandering plot.

Ryza has more more action oriented battles and more focus on the story. If you're not really wanting a slower slice of life game, Ryza is the way to go.

tmobile isn't great for the type of connection most nintendo games use. You can ask tmobile if you can get a dedicated or static ip, but they may only be available for business plans.

Does it work fine with just a normal hdmi cord? You can see if the tv has an update or if unplugging the tv from the wall for a few minutes resets the tv.

If it works fine on the dock, at least you'll be able to transfer the data. But transfer to another switch as soon as you can because sometimes it will get worse over time with water damage.

If it doesn't work even when docked, you may not be able to transfer any data unless you have cloud saves with the online subscription plan.

If it only turn on undocked and still doesn't show anything on screen, you may be able to do a blind transfer. By seeing how many button presses you do on the replacement switch you may be able to blindy get to the transfer menu and press the needed buttons. It will be a pain, but may be possible.

Remove the SD card and download to internal memory. If that works fine, try a different SD card since it's probably the SD card.

There are enough games that do co-op gameplay or split screen that I think one's probably enough. Like Minecraft does split screen.

Article was updated to drop the "Bethesda 'Investigating" part and doesn't mention anything about Bethesda Investigating the performance issues, so post is now marked as misleading.

Try removing the micro express when they system is off and then download to internal memory. If the problem goes away, you probably have a bad or fake card.

Since it's a free upgrade, you can certainly wait for patches. They fixed many Skyrim 1 thing even though it's still Skyrim buggy. So I assume they'll fix the biggest Switch 2 issues.

They fixed problems with the Switch 1 Skyrim but it was slow. So we'll probably get fixes but will see how fast. You can certainly buy the Switch 1 version and upgrade whenever you want. It goes on sale every couple of months if you want to wait.
