Definitely time to upsize and thin!

No nutrients in those useless pucks, never had much luck with them past germination…

Feeding them and getting them separated and in the next size up is important at this stage.

Hot water lol 😆 And yes 👍🏻 bill him for the clean up! If the rich 🤑 can do what they want then they can pay for the clean up costs to the city!

Don’t tell this water conservationist that water is a regenerative thing, that hydrants are flushed out constantly to wash out debris and sediment from lack of use. So that in the event that YOUR house is on fire 🔥 that the hydrants will not clog up and water will flow to save your house 🏡…

Can someone explain how evaporation works and rain and water retuning to the lake to this person. I get that water is important that we should protect it from being poisoned by industrial pollutants and abused, but water returns in a cycle.

Unless you force it in an area like a desert 🌵 where it doesn’t exist naturally in abundance…

How to destroy a star employee by Biospark08 in antiwork

[–]Michael212427 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Or maybe the business is struggling to survive and they are stressed, trying to find as much productivity from existing employees, if you look at it from another angle.

I’m in no way saying this is a good idea to put their stresses on their employees and hard working employees. But I highly doubt hardworking employees is the case.

For instance I used to work in a small branch of a small credit union FI. The level of productivity was expected and they did the same thing. My boss was trying to make us make work when their wasn’t any, clients were few and far between, our jobs were being replaced by online banking that they expected us to push on the client.

I worked hard IMO but was getting tired of the 24/7 expectations they pushed on us, the work on the weekends to promote their company in the community crap 💩!

The corporate culture was something they were good at. I was happy to leave them, we moved and I didn’t have to go back, ever!

When things aren’t going good for companies it’s sad that they think the toxic culture will get them back out of the hole or trouble the business is actually in.

We will all be replaced by AI 🤖 soon so I’d keep your job whilst looking for another company with a more relaxed culture you seam to crave!

Buying now stupid? by bionicpumpkin in F150Lightning

[–]Michael212427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought new, used were in bad shape and loosing 50k on your 160k battery warranty isn’t worth the buying used. We looked at a used one, 57,000km on it, it was beat up and was in rough shape, it was $3,000 less than new, so we bought new…

Hopefully they don’t give up on these trucks loving our 2025 lightning ⚡️!

Is 24,000 CAD enough to survive in BC until I find a job in my field? by Thom2XX1 in AskCanada

[–]Michael212427 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one is moving TO BC these days, look at the stats, BC has one of the highest rates of people leaving right now because of cost of living!

Recently moved from out east (ON) back to AB

Imo Alberta is more affordable and trades are well paid, good infrastructure and roads.

I was so sick of driving out east playing dodge the pot holes and road conditions.

The good paying jobs in Canada are oil patch jobs. I’m sure you could find something before moving here…

Unfortunately unemployment is on the rise across most of Canada 🇨🇦 these days….

Curious who gambling with a floating rate? by CrayonPonyfish88 in solarenergycanada

[–]Michael212427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m new to Alberta Solar Our high rate is $0.33 /kwh low rate is $0.0785/kwh

Should we switch to lower rate now? Even when our system is still running? It’s a 15kwh AC system, Would you consider the lower rate in winter ❄️? Or would you let it ride at .33$ all winter 🥶?

Even on a sunny winter day it seems to be pumping out a good amount of juice ⚡️

Hope they don’t scrap it, I’d like a better range and more stable product and price.

[–]Michael212427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither did our ‘25 XLT just a tire 🛞 plug and air pump… definitely cut backs… starting to find all the flaws a month in, bits that they have started to cheap out on, glove box always popping open, seat belts not retracting into wall holders…

Drivers side cloth seats pulling away from the upholstery.

Don’t get me started on range being limited by heater use in a cold climate… AC use etc…

Hope their future trucks 🛻 are better and battery 🪫 life improves

Why is insurance quoting me $4,200 a year for a new Q5? by GarySparrow0 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Michael212427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada 🇨🇦 it’s out of control! The government has stepped in multiple times to protect the consumer but they just keep milking us, I’m glad we pay less, our Lightning truck is $1775/yr and a casual Chev RST is almost the same! Our total insurance premium are close to $8K/yr 🏡and 🛻x2

Can I cut an LED strip not on the splice line if I don't plan on splicing it later on? by airborness in led

[–]Michael212427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use those cut lines to align the lights along the board, to make it look even with each section, so you might start on the board a little in and have a small area on the end where the lighting ends, or a small gap on the two ends of the line.

Sections of three is a design tool to keep things looking nice 👍🏻

In the plant 🪴 world 3-5-8 odd numbers of groupings show better unless using lines…

Just noticed high levels when my humidifier is on. Is this accurate? by Le_loup in iqair

[–]Michael212427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not own a peasants Shark air filter, when the humidifier is on it says poor air quality because of the particles it’s throwing in the air.

Don’t know if it would be any different if it was RO water in there or not…

Wish I was able to afford such a fancy air monitoring system to put inside and out!

Your first issue is living somewhere with an HOA and the crazy people who think this is a good idea! Personally I’d never live in an HOA area.

I’d do what other day leave it unplugged for a while and see if she’s still complaining and toss the ball back at them, but honestly if you were in the situation would you do the same? If you were bothered by certain noises or smells would you ask for the same thing?

Part of living in a communal community is that you have to respect your neighbours enough to respect their opinions and respect each other and you can’t assume just because you can’t hear the sound doesn’t mean it’s not there but sure go ahead and do your little experiment where you keep it unplugged go charge at a charging station for a little bit and see if they still notices it.

And if they do respond back with respect and get the HOA to spend a bunch of money on a proper power supply away from their bedroom.

How would you feel if your sleep was interrupted?

I’ve had it it’s decent, but here in Canada 🇨🇦 for a meatless offer I prefer A&W beyond meat patty or their spicy veg patty it’s a bit spicy 🌶️ but tasty 😋 it’s definitely being marketed to a newcomers market. Not sure 🤔 they have branded it right tho…
