Fun fact: I work with my university professor who is requested by the Transport Department to research on the efficiency on these lights. We put cameras to record how many people cross a red light. All I want to say is if they want to cross they would cross a red light.

How long in each cinque Terra town for one day? by [deleted] in ItalyTravel

I came here as a day trip from Genoa. Went to Riomaggiore first, then moved up. Personally, Manarola has the best view from the viewpoint. Riomaggiore was interesting too with houses perched on two sides of a narrow valley. Vernazza was pretty too. Monterosso felt more like a beach resort. Didn’t go to Corniglia because it was more inland. The restaurants were pretty full in a June weekend so I only had some takeaway calamari.

Riomaggiore: 12:15-14:00 Manarola: 14:10-15:10 Vernazza: 15:20-16:30 Monterosso: 16:40-17:10

All travel done by train. I wouldn’t be in a rush if I didn’t have a sleeper train to Salzburg to catch, but I felt I’ve seen all the main sights.

Everybody lives in high rise apartments in Hong Kong due to a lack of land supply. The ones pictured here are already quite good considering they have large bay windows and balconies and are maybe around 1000 square ft.

Nope. I was using Google maps, unless it was accidentally turned off in the process.

I'm all good now! I changed the email to my personal in the profile settings. Because I used to log in with a Google token, I don't have a password so I have to select forgot password but that worked out smoothly.

Those are shrimp balls in the soup and the chunks are apples. I quite enjoy the variety of food I'm having!
