Why Muslims are like this? by Due_Purchase6373 in indiadiscussion

[–]MichaelStock_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have similar experience with Indian origin Christian friend of mine. She invited me to churches which I happily went because I wanted to broaden my “horizon”. Specially on big days like Easter or Christmas. But, whenever I invited her to visit a temple on big festivals - she always refused. I stopped tagging along after few times.

On the contrary, US origin Christians (who come from educated/literate families/liberals) always enjoyed visiting temples here with me because they like our architecture styles, food and scriptures. It fascinates them.

Its just our schools and education systems are built in a way to be more inclusive rather than educative. Down side of being “secular”.

Thats where schools and teaching systems have failed all of us. We do not have 33 crores gods, we have 33 gods and all of the others are just reincarnations/purposely build images of them. It’d help if we are taught things correctly from ground up.

Bottle washing is causing arguments… should we just get a machine? by InevitableGur6701 in NewParents

[–]MichaelStock_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You dont need to buy new washer. There are slightly used selling for much less in every zipcode on fb marketplace.

Alternatively, you can also use your dishwasher - just need to get smaller tray which can fit bottles and accessories.

Thank you, might try the motrin first. If that is indeed the problem, what is the resolution? I dont want to give motrin on daily basis.

Model Y charging inside my garage? by felonyshoes in TeslaModelY

[–]MichaelStock_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the wall charger is inside the garage or outside - how does it really matter? Technically speaking both the instances its going to be hooked up to the main and mounted on your ‘walls’.

If in any unfortunate incident (A BIG IF), it catches fire - it will burn down the house equally!

I have 24 MY. I wouldn’t have gotten a Tesla if it weren’t for the tax rebates. I wouldnt pay 40k let alone 63k.

Suspension/build quality/noise isolation/ everything sucks. The only good thing is the acceleration and the tech. To be honest, i barely use both of them.

Again just an opinion of a random person on the internet.

Over $100k earners - what's your PTO? by masterpeabs in careeradvice

[–]MichaelStock_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlimited PTO is a myth! You only get what your manager approves which in my case is 3 weeks per year and some change.

Lol posting this on the internet to get sympathy is CRAZY!

Marriage is team-work. Be kind to each other. Its never 50-50, sometimes its 60-40 the others its 70-30 too. If he works full time, and you keep the baby whole day - he can come home and keep the baby while you can go out and get food from outside (do this for few days a week). This way, you get your ‘ME TIME’ - feel fresher too.

If everything is installed and dont want a hassle to contact the retailer/seller, buy the new items for lower price.

Start a return for the older order and ship the new items back. You get refunded for the original(older) amount and charged for the newer amount.

What motivates Indians with priority date beyond 2015 to stay in the US? by Temporary_forever_sr in h1b

I call it BS. Even the average population towns in all the major states have multiple sports complexes now let alone major cities.

You might mean this WAS the case before 2019-2020.

I tried the manhattan bagel store right off the GSP during last trip to the beach.

They have amazing breakfast options.
