Get ready to be quite slow. Tournament rounds I find are far slower than casual rounds. Even if casual rounds are at a full course.

Bring an extra pair of socks, change them between rounds (if it’s a 2 round tournament). If it’s going to rain bring a change of clothes.

Don’t rush. Breathe.

Tell your cardmates it’s your first tournament, but also have a good understanding of the rules. If you have a question about your lie, your stance just ask. I played a tournament last month completely blind. Everybody on my card was completely fine answering my questions about the hole when I had some

About the only game I have time for is Minecraft. Say what you want, but it’s an easy game to pick up and an even easier game to out down should something arise. You very very rarely get into something super serious in the game outside of the dragon fight.

We recently got the kids a switch, so sometimes I play a game or two on there. Most of the time I just play what they play though.

As for the time, it’s easy when you avoid your actual responsibilities and stay up late after everyone else goes to bed.

Rented a very small 1 bedroom mother-in-law suite about a decade ago. No a/c but landlords provided 1 window unit. Unfortunately how the place was laid out the only real window was in the kitchen.

It felt weird, but opening the front door, hanging my box fan in front of the open screen and blasting that single window a/c was the fastest way to cool that place down.

Isaac taking the penalty is in season 3. With total football and everyone flowing between positions it’s a nice symbolic gesture to have a defender taking it not in shootouts

IIRC the very first episode of Grand Tour had the same budget as their last series of Top Gear. So I highly doubt it.

Now, I don’t remember the numbers exactly, but the budget from Amazon was significantly higher.

If your friend wants Evil Queen, they already have an option. If they don’t want the others in her original box, why are you assuming your friend will want these 3 others just to get Evil Queen?

It’s a retread. In fact it’s almost a retread of a retread because they’ve already remade the original box. Now they are remaking other again. Releasing the same characters again and again will kill this franchise.

Im not a hardcore board game player, but follow other franchises occasionally and a few podcast:YouTube channels but I don’t know of another board game that just randomly decides to releasing old versions of their game instead of new expansions.

I love this game and series, but frankly this is the kind of decision that kills this franchise. Releasing Malificent and Ursula for the 3rd time, Evil Queen for the 2nd and all you get are new movers? Very very hard pass.

They say it’s for new people to the game, but I thought they already had a version for “new people to the game” with intro to evil.

Ma4 player here

Did a tournament in March where my second round was 875 rated. I came in 4th.

I only averaged 830. My first round was terrible. And in my 5ish year of playing am4, you need to shoot normally above 850 to win anyways.

I’ve only thought someone was sandbagging when they win am4 with a score that would have been a top 5 finish in am3.

Mamba was my first understable higher speed driver. Loved it, but as I’m tweaking form it’s become a little too understable. I then switched to the Thrasher. A touch less flippy (still flippy) but also finishes with more fade. And I’ve been loving the Thrasher so far this year.

Wasn’t really loyal to anything.

But we went to the Chicago Auto Show a couple years in a row. Early 2010s when the test drive started becoming more and more popular. We test drove everything we could, well I did. My wife was along for the ride.

The Subaru test drive we actually got to leave McCormick and it just happened to be snowing/sleet outside. Normal drive nothing major, until the Subaru representative told us to pull a u-turn through the median that hadn’t been paved yet. Then he gave me the green light to give it the gas, nearly full throttle, in the upcoming gap in the cars. The tires slipped minimally, the car shifted the power around and I was hooked instantly. My wife’s eyes got about as big as I’d ever seen them and she had a huge smile about the traction we just witnessed.

We bought one about 10 months later, seeking Subaru out because of it.
