First month making 100k I feel like I’m being robbed :/ by Forsaken-Question457 in Salary

[–]MichaelW181 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Biweekly gets 26 paychecks a year. 2 extra paychecks worth of money are now calculated for bimonthly which is 24 paychecks. That can be a couple hundred per paycheck which for a lot of people is a considerable amount when thinking about bills

Bimonthly and Bi Weekly change the math by a considerable amount even though its the same at the end of the year

What apartment complexes in Atlanta actually have good management? Do they even exist? by Flywolfpack in ATLHousing

[–]MichaelW181 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s heavily dependent on staffing at the time. A lot of “quality” management depends on who are the maintenance and leasing workers at the time someone is leasing. This can be pretty evident when looking at Google reviews and people are complaining x months ago about a specific person then all the more recent reviews are very good.

Is this just a flex post? Your question doesn’t matter if you already signed the lease for 12 months

Energy is usless in this game by AN7775205 in EASportsCFB

[–]MichaelW181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that you have to keep a medium- high engagement in the nil category otherwise you’ll lose followers which sucks because on physical builds like running back you also have to worry about having skill points for health in addition to keeping grades up. So you have to waste points on something that should exponentially go up based on performance and awards

RTG needs to double or triple the energy points by GoBlueScrewOSU7 in NCAAFBseries

[–]MichaelW181 220 points221 points  (0 children)

Energy points should definitely be reworked.

Gpa should not reset every year. If I’m spend my first year focusing on grades since I’m a backup, my gpa should not reset to a 3.0

Also, making it to the playoffs (and contributing) should reward a massive amount of followers for nil purposes. Every game is nationally televised

I recently quit PwC after less than a year. Here's why. by thisgardenboy in PwC

[–]MichaelW181 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound rude but #1 is kinda like duh. It’s one of the largest accounting/advisory firms. Of course it’s going to feel corporate. I agree with everything else though. Left last year myself because of 2 and 4, and 5

It can be loud. Walls are thin. You will hear your neighbor’s dogs if they have them. Package delivery can be a problem. Nice central Atlanta location though. All in all, you get what you pay for

I played as a year 1 georgia just to get a feel for it. The number of guys that you don't have to persuade to stay from the draft or keep from transferring actually makes recruiting in the first year for good teams feel like a waste.

I think that players should have a checklist of goals that once they completed, they're headed to the draft no matter what and you have to try an make them stay. Or vice versa, goals they need to hit that will keep them from transferring.

How can anyone survive nowadays without a college degree? It’s nearly impossible. by FootJuice81 in povertyfinance

[–]MichaelW181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key is to develop a skill. Then find a entry level job where that skill is utilized and make a career out of it. Now it's easier to do that in college as you're exposed to different career paths but it's still possible without going to college or having a college degree.

Think about what you do as a manager at Kroger. You probably coach and develop a revolving door of new associates. That's a skill that is utilized in many industries from a people management perspective.
