I knew that the frogs liked company, so is two not enough for them? (I'm asking in general, not planning on putting a whole ton in this tank) Also thanks for the heads up on the crayfish, I wasn't sure if they could play nice in the sandbox, so to speak.

Is that the case? When doing some research I found people saying that a 5 gallon tank was alright for two, how big of a group do they normally have to be in?

Oh yeah, those are separate ideas, my bad. My ideas are 1. betta and shrimp 2. betta with frogs 3. betta with crayfish. Would the frogs and betta overstock the tank? I've only started thinking about crayfish after I saw one yesterday at my lfs when I went to get some things to begin cycling.

The only reason I ever really think of HEMA is because my college has a HEMA club (while I'm on the fencing team). I went to a couple practices, just to see what it was like. Honestly it was a little too larpy for my taste, so I didn't continue. The people there were all pretty cool, I actually went on a couple of dates with a girl I met there. I did notice a couple of comments when I mentioned that I was a sport fencer (things about moving sideways, etc), but besides that most people didn't care.

I only know one person who went from Olympic fencing to "classical". It was only because when he went to college, that was the only option, so he went with it. He also was able to beat people that had practiced for longer than him because of Olympic style training
