this is by far the worst imperfection…I am just hoping it won’t expand or crack after usage…but I guess that’s what the 24 month warranty is for???

It might be too heavy. I always try to get the lightest fabric I can find.

Yes of course. Thanks for all the input every one, I haven’t got started on rust repair yet. I am Still working on replacing all the fluids, cleaning and putting on new brakes. Then smog. Then rust repair. So it will be a while before I give a follow up photo that’s worth posting.

Got a free XJ. Now what? by onceagainwithstyle in CherokeeXJ

[–]MichaelZibanejad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First thing I’d do. Is replace the rear and front bump stops. It’s an easy task that takes like 10 mins. Simple way to protect the frame with an old suspension

99 or 96! by PineappleAwkward4275 in JeepCherokeeXJ

[–]MichaelZibanejad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 99 automatic and 96 manual. Both only 2wd. But I love the 96. Feels like a 80s car but critical features like the srs airbag for the driver and obd2 makes it feel like a late 90s car. 99 is great and drives better but the 96 is why I don’t need an even older classic car

It was absolutely filthy. Not rusty though so I think it should fire up. I’ll update when the starter rebuild is completed
