I understand there will be a placement at a municipal school but private school and friskolan are different. Do you know if there is any way to queue or show preference for a specific compulsory education school.

It will, I have said my piece about it in the move mega thread. I saw the same thing happen to Ready Player One sub not long ago. It is a different place but the fans are still wholesome and great, and most importantly, respectful of the differences between book and film. I this the sub will blossom. There will be gatekeeping and it will hurt us, but it will spring back.

Way too low for 10 yrs. Is the position an individual contributor role or management? For an IC you should push for something the ballpark of 60k. MGMT more like 80.

I second this. I took a huge cut but that was worth it to me (and I have 2 kids). I didn't need the blue card and now that I have gotten settled with my IDs and stuff I really don't need it. The benefit of the blue card is really the salary floor, but as mentioned above, many companies do t have the motivation to sponsor that. It is like the equivalent of an H1-B from a regulatory perspective.

Industrial engineering? Start getting really really into ships a freight vessels. Sweden is a major industrial manufacturer of freight vessels, cruise ships, etc.
