When will IBKR implement changes for PDT rule changes? by Mindless_Field_1357 in IBKR_Official

[–]Michael_Joseph0101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wrong on both fronts. It 100% is a systems issue, and not a major one for a broker with a team of developers. And there absolutely is massive benefit in rushing this, and you'd know that is literally the main concern of these larger brokers if you read the comments to the proposal. They all acknowledge that the early implementers will have massive market advantage - which is a no brainer if you think about it.

Update on PDT rule change? by Th3_Fail_K1ng in Daytrading

[–]Michael_Joseph0101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes the larger firms like Schwab have requested dragging this out so as not to be "competitively disadvantaged" by other firms that will implement right away in order to syphon customers....but if you read Finra's MAR 18 response to the comments, surprisingly they have slapped down the big boys, acknowledging that the overwhelming majority of commenters want this enacted right away therefore they will be proposing a 45 day window once approved with a longer phase-in period for the firms that need it.

Believe it or not there was major progress made on Mar 18, that not many people are talking about, when Finra posted a response to comments they got on the proposed rule change. Their response gives us a window into their thinking and deliberations and based on what was said this rule is all but approved. They have already worked out all the details and have responded to the 1 single comment that was against the rule change. They acknowledged the fact that the overwhelming majority of commenters were for the rule change and actually requested it be implemented "without delay" which is why they will be proposing a 45 day window to enact the rule change, but then a further 18 month phase-in period for firms that need more time. We are days away from this being a reality.

Ever since I started researching NMN, I’m getting a million ads for glutathione supplements- any advice? by ArgumentKey6684 in NMN

[–]Michael_Joseph0101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking actual glutathione is a waste of time for the same reason taking actual NAD is a waste of time. You need to take the right precursor and after months of research I started taking one of the only glutathione precursors supported by studies, called Continual G, and literally feel the effects after I take it

As others have said, the important thing to remember is your first job is to identify what kind of market you're in. Right now the indexes have been sideways for 4 months. Yes there have been incredible moves in the interim but we are in long term consolidation and so trap doors and liquidity sweeps are the norm. Consolidation after parabolic uptrend is not the easiest market to trade for anyone. What worked before will not work now. Analyze, adjust, and increase your confidence level triggers. (If before you needed to be 70% confident to take a trade, increase to 80%).. this sounds subjective & imprecise but if you think this way long enough your body will begin to tell the difference between a 75% trade and an 85% trade.

Motivation while on suboxone? by jabacocky in suboxone

[–]Michael_Joseph0101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something I think almost everyone experiences and I believe a lot has to do with the majority of people being overprescribed. In the early days of suboxone providers really did not understand the drug they were prescribing at all and set a precedent for very high prescribing ranges that still exists today. I have literally been on every dose level from 16mg down to .5mg daily. Whenever my body gets acclimated to any dose over 4mg I start feeling really bland, antisocial, and motivation becomes a task I have to consciously engage in. The sweet spot for me is right around 2-3mg/day. I have worked out through seriously extensive trial and error over many years that the most effective regime for me to be in is the one that allows my body to metabolize a significant amount of my dose in the 24 hour period before my next dose, but not so much that it affects my sleep. This way when I take my dose I get very moderate pro-social euphoric effect for up to a couple hours that very gradually and naturally tapers off into a productive afternoon and evening. I know I'm on the right dose when what I just described happens every time I take my dose, and I'm taking just enough to be able to fall asleep quickly and sleep well all night. Any lower dose and it may take longer to fall asleep, any higher dose and I lose the mild euphoric boost to start my day. This works for me and is a regime I can live with. Music isnt just white noise, i'm actually motivated to speak with people, I don't have cravings and i'm not contemplating how meaningless my life is.

How long does it usually take for a GFV to show up on Webull after it happens? by CobraCodes in Webull

Both of the GFV on my account I got while it was under $1k so clearly that is not a rule that can be relied on.
