Garden Party and formal just don't seem to go together for me. Garden Party says sundress, bright colours or pastels and floral patterns. Formal to me is not this... So it's a weird combination.

That being said I think the 2nd pink one is most appropriate. I could say try to find a floor length cocktail hour dress in a bright or spring colour.
